Tavos Tacos — Restaurant in North Ridgeville

We heard about Tavo's Tacos opening a few months back but hadn't visited as there are a several options closer to home. However, we popped in last week and were very happy with our experience. The food and margaritas were delicious. The owner and staff were very friendly and did their best to deliver a great experience!

When ordering at the counter as some options are prepped on-demand in the kitchen. This causes some confusion in a rush but the restaurant is still very new. In time, I am certain they will adapt and streamline their flow.

As with many counter service restaurants, some meats are not heavily seasoned to accommodate a wider variety of diners. However, there is certainly no lack of flavor in the salsas, sauces and other toppings so don't miss out!

I have been consistently ordering from Tavos for several nights in a row. I get hooked on eating the same thing for a while and what can I say, I like their Queso and don't like to cook. I next ordered their poppers, and a tamale, which I thought was very good. The next night of my very last day of ordering, I got Queso, Poppers, and 2 Tamales. While eating the tamale the bite of food had a hair in it. I spat out and looked in/at the food to make sure it wasn't a cat hair and it absolutely was not. There was still a good length of thick dark hair inside the tamale as well. Unfortunately, I didn't think to take a picture to submit to Door Dash, but this review is enough for me.
