Mama Romito's Pub & Pizzeria — Restaurant in North Royalton

Picked up pizza here for the first time since they moved in. I got 2 half sheet pizzas, pepperoni and sausage and they were exactly as I remember as a kid. Of course sheet vs an authentic round pizza is different from one another, but they crush both styles. They add just enough sauce...not too much and definitely not too little. It's imo...the best pizza in Royalton now.

They used to be from the Independence location off 21 but they split up I guess and brought the original sauce recipe and pizza making style with them to this location. The old 21 location is owned by 2 new people that are not part of the originals and their pizza isn't nearly as good unfortunately. I've been going to the rt21 location since I was a kid...maybe some 25 years.

This is an ok place as far as food goes and drinks, but it is disturbing that they run Bingo out of this bar and have minors in the building playing bingo. It is not legal in the Stare of Ohio for any person UNDER the age of 16 to be actively playing bingo. This bar is apparently trying to become a “Family” type restaurant. But knowing there are minors in the building, playing bingo and sitting right along side all the drinkers at the bar definitely does not sit well and I think the liquor control board needs to audit this establishment and see what all they are...

We ordered take out. A patty melt and a gyro. The patty melt was good besides the burnt bread. The gyro..I would honestly take that off the menu. The meat was dry and over cooked, the sauce wasn't the fresh cucumber sauce. More of a garlic whipped spread... and so many diced white onions on it.
