I got takeaway from All Star Pizza, ordering a cheeseburger sub and fries. The chap on the phone was nice, and my order was promised to be ready within 15 minutes or so. When I arrived, my order was ready as expected and I received kind, courteous service from the folks at the counter. Taking the food home, the scent was tantalizing; a car ride that is less than a minute away never felt so long as the delicious aromas filled my vehicle. Once home, I snapped the picture you see and dug in. The fries, at first glance, looked to be similar to 5 Guys or what you would get at The Castle or Ye Olde. Upon closer inspection and eventual consumption, they just tasted like average pizza shop fries - disappointing in their own way, but meeting my expectations for a pizza place fry. The sub, however, is another story. I found it dry and rather mediocre. A cheeseburger sub will never live up to an actual cheeseburger, but this particular iteration of a cheeseburger sub was just a failure on all counts. The mayo and ketchup was all in the crack of the sub rather than on the side where it would be touching the meat and doing its job. I had to add condiments to thwart the stodgy patties and wrestle some delight from this sub. All in all, I was not impressed. One of my relatives had talked up this sub, so I had somewhat elevated hopes, but in the end? It was okay. In a city overrun with pizza places, there are plenty of other choices, many of which offer comparable or better experiences within walking distance. The food I had at All Star is not bad by any stretch, just not good or great. Average as a pizza place, and with reasonable prices and friendly service, you may find that my "okay" might be tipped into your "good". Update 07/17/22: I finally tried their pizza, and can happily say that it is a vastly better product than their Cheeseburger sub. I opted for the All Star Special - shaved steak and Buffalo chicken with onions and peppers. It is a crispy, thin crust pizza that has really tasty toppings. I would have liked more spice from the Buffalo - maybe more sauce, maybe more chicken - but overall this was a much more pleasant dining experience than the sub I had previously. In a city overrun by pizza places, All Star has managed to put out a pizza that contends with the best of them. If they went just a tad heavier on their toppings and were a bit bolder with their flavors, I'd say that they were easily the best, but for now? They are certainly in the competition.

I don’t typically leave reviews but I was so impressed by the entire experience with All Star Pizza! I recently moved to the area and I’ve tried several different pizza places with zero success. I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, teriyaki chicken tenders and a large bacon pizza. The pizza was TOP NOTCH! The crust was perfectly cooked and the sauce was delicious too! The tenders were SO GOOD I haven’t had such good teriyaki in ages. As for the salad, absolutely delicious. The chicken is marinated and not bland like most other places I’ve tried. Last I want to mention that the customer service from the person who answered the phone to the delivery driver their disposition was cheerful and personable! I just love this place and can’t wait to try out some other dishes!!

I never leave reviews for anyone or anything, but I just had to say that this place crushes it every time. Theyre friendly, courteous, and try to be timely and efficient as much as they can. Ive had multiple different orders from here, and its always cooked perfectly and with fresh ingredients. Anything they make is good- I’ve never thought about a salad for days after I had one. Also the calzones are perfect. Ive never eaten all of a calzone because of all the gross crust bits, but these ones come out beautifully golden and that kind of crunchy thats soft. Like breaking a loaf of freshly baked bread. Anyway 10/10 theyre great get anything from them it’ll probably slap

No one is ever in there. There’s absolutely no way this place got 4.4 stars! Place is super expensive for being less than average. I got a calzone that had no meat in 4 pockets of the dough. Fries are $7! For 11 fries. For a calzone and side of fries $40! Then the kid says I’d pay $40 for the best calzone in my life” I laughed a bit too hard, I should’ve walked out and not paid for it. I don’t want the managers “ oh we’ll do better next time” any real restaurant gives food credit because their food is so good they don’t have to worry about the little money it takes to satisfy a customer. Stay away from this place. Unless you don’t mind spending your hard earned money on less than average food. Calzone was unsupported on the bottom and couldn’t pick it up to dunk it in the marinara. Fries and calzone had no flavor, and was given a covid test 3 hours before eating here, so that wasn’t the problem lol. These have to be fake reviews they’re getting because I usually go through Ollie’s pizza, who are on vacation, and all star pizza wouldn’t of been a thought. I’ve had all star before, and was...

I moved up to North Smithfield at the end of 2022. When I found out my “local pizza joint” was THIS GOOD, I knew I’d be a loyal customer.

Their chicken tenders are real chicken - and they are the best I’ve ever had. Their bone in wings are also amazing!

The grilled chicken on the salad or on a wrap is literally so fresh and delicious. I am grossed out by cartilage and un-trimmed chicken and I have never had that issue from here (grilled or tenders - it’s the same chicken). And I have eaten their chicken at least once a week for 2 years now.

Their salad are always so fresh - always crisp veggies and they use romaine!

The “Shrooms plus” is a freakin delicacy! Wow!

Top notch thick onion rings!

Their red sauce is also good - and that’s coming from a picky Italian lol their meatball app is also one of our go-tos. And of course, the Margherita pizza (fresh mozz and fresh basil).

I am now moving away, and I will miss All Star Pizza more than any other restaurant in this area of RI. I wish all the best to the owners and workers - we are so...
