Just left this job lot and the only reason I'm writing this review is because I was slightly taken aback when the cashier immediately turned to the pin pad (after getting my phone number for my card) and pushed the button for printed reciept only. She did it as she was saying, I'm just gonna click print reciept... Never asked me, never gave a reason, just forced me into a paper reciept. I get all my reciept emailed when possible - email only! Why are we wasting paper? Not happy about being treated like an invalid that doesn't know whether they want print or email... As a side note, if she said, we can't email right now, I would be fine, she gave no reason, I don't know if there was one, she just thought she would make the decision for me with no...

Ocean State Job Lot is a niche discount store..similar to Ollie's and Big Lots. Some stores are bigger and have better selections. My favorite among the 3 close to me is just off Park ave. No freezer or cold food items, but has a fairly wide selection of brand name and off brand snacks, clothing, pool supplies, outdoor items and patio furniture. Reasonable prices on most things they stock. You will not find a wide variety of brands per product. Example..one brand of cat food..one brand of peanut butter..and so on. I go there mainly for batteries..their prices are tbe best for the good kinds..that is one thing they have a variety of. Good store, clean restrooms..well lit..wide aisles. No bad things to...
