Ammirato's Meatball Cafe — Restaurant in North Township

I'm writing this review at 5:24pm as I sit in the parking lot waiting for the food I was texted was ready at 4:26pm. I was told they had to make fresh mashed potatoes bc they didn't realize they were out and it would be another 10 minutes. The lady didn't apologize, all she said was "well I tried to call you". I don't typically answer phone numbers I don't know and didn't see the voicemail come through until after I had already arrived to pick up my food. I go back in after 10 minutes and it's "we're getting it together" still no one has apologized. I've now been sitting here for 45+ minutes waiting for the order I was told was ready an hour ago. I ordered online so I could grab and go since I'm also getting food for someone else but this hour plus wait time has guaranteed I will not be back.

Update: I finally got my food. Out of everything we ordered, the small cup of soup was the only thing enjoyable. The "white cheddar mashed potatoes" that I waited over an hour for were sub par, the mushroom gravy was packet brown gravy with about 3 mushrooms and the meatballs were just ok; not bad, not great, just ok. I will definitely be ordering from Ammirato's Meatball Cafe more often as all of the food i have tried so far has been absolutely delicious. The Italian beef, chili, cheesy potato soup and the meatball bowls were all amazingly fresh and very tasty, and the portions are rather large for the price.
