GGC Catering and Eatery — Restaurant in North Township

I went here on a Sunday afternoon. The wait was long as hell. About an hour and 10 minutes of standing in line because it is a small business the line is usually out the door. The service was great!!! Very kind and God fearing people! I ordered smothered turkey chops sweet potatoes, seafood mac n cheese. And the chops were on top of garlic mashed potatoes. The plate came with a nice portion of food. I also ordered the kool aid and honey buttered cornbread. Everything was delicious!!! Absolutely hot fresh and flavorful. The mac n cheese and nice sized shrimp and a good amount of crab meat in it but definitely cheesy and good! The cornbread was moist and sweet just as I like it. The turkey chops i had the gravy on side instead of on top because I wanted to try a different sauce but i forgot to go back and get my sauce so the only thing i would do differently is get the gravy on top because that was very good too. I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS PLACE and I be trying to support black owned businesses but the unprofessionalism is unmatched! First off, I shouldve known something was wrong about the owner who is parading around with a metal crown on his head calling grown women shorty! I am 35 years old...I had to tell him several times dont address me as "shorty". Secondly, I waited over 1 hr 15 mins for my one plate ( I wouldve waited longer if I didnt go inside to check on my food).The food was mediocre and nothing to call home about and the sauce was nasty. I got the catfish/wing combo with sweet potatoes and mac and cheese and cornbread with a side of garlic parmesan/buffalo sauce. I'm disgusted with the chicken with all these feathers, clearly they don't clean/wash the chicken cause if they did Im sure you wouldnt have missed this.
