SHUT IT DOWN.......HAIR COOKED IN FOOD
This evening I placed an order over the phone for pick-up. When I got there the transaction was smooth I picked up my order and went home. Shortly after I got home I washed my hands to eat. I started with eating the French fries which was delicious with the honey barbeque sauce. So I was going to proceed to taste the perch fish that I ordered and noticed a long piece of hair cooked into my fish. I called back to the store and let the manager know that there was hair in my food and I'd like him to replace the fish to cook it and have it ready so I wouldn't have to wait and that I ate the fries already. He told me he couldn't cook it until I got there because he had to see the hair in my food. I told him ok I'll bring it now. So when I get there he saw the hair cooked into my fish and denied that it came from the restaurant because they were all foreign without the texture of the hair I told him it's not mine my hair is red and the hair came from there he stated that he has no girls working there today, but I know that he does have some females that do work there in the establishment. Also for the hair to be cooked INTO the food it came from there, I didn't cook it they did. I asked for a refund because he argued that the hair didn't come from there & he refused to refund my money so I have a video of the food and him I called the police and he wanted to replace my fish if I deleted the video he won't issue a refund I also requested a total refund for both orders of food that I had because hair in your food is physical contamination and distasteful to have hair in the food. Wait until you see the nasty apron the cook that preps the food has on. To no prevail did this issue be reconciled. I took the food and my video and will be issuing it to the health department DNA doesn't lie. This is the second time something has happened at this restaurant and they are so disrespectful š in handling situations and we support this restaurant in our community. I say SHUT IT DOWN. I was on my lunch and when we got there, there was only one person sitting a waiting for their order. A friend of mine and I walked in. We weren't sure of what to order, she ordered the chicken wing dinner and I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with fries and drink. It started off where she got her unsweetened ice tea. Then I wanted to get the sweetened ice tea, it came out like water. So I mentioned it they said they had to check the machine. While waiting for someone to come I decided to get the orange drink instead. My friend got her meal first and it looked good. I had to wait for a while. After about 10 or 15 minutes, mine still wasn't there so I asked. The cashier asked about my order the guy looked like he didn't know. So I waited maybe 5 minutes more. When it came it wasn't hot. It seemed fine for the first couple of bites, when I bit into the center it was tough and rubbery. I took it back and told them. They asked what did I want. I said that I wanted another to go because I didn't have much time for my lunch. It took another 10 minutes then they asked me if I wanted cheese, well they didn't ask me that for the first one which had cheese. After getting the meal to go. I called the store explaining what had happened and was told to bring it back and it would be corrected. I advised where I lived and was told the next time I was in the area. I came back 3 different times and was told I needed to speak with āFreddieā since they had no knowledge. Each time they were going to contact him later that day. Fast forward to Friday I call speak with āFreddieā I remind him of what happened he stated he would take care of it. I get to the restaurant and the order is still wrong! I again explain I want sauce on the fries only. āFreddieā becomes very loud, rude and demeaning! I informed him I was not yelling at him and he needed to bring it down a few notches! He continued I became angry as well! āMoā intervened telling āFreddieā to correct the problem! I have never had a experience like that before; donāt know if it is a language issue or if āFreddieā is just rude! I will not be returning to that restaurant; the Sharks on Calumet is off the chain!
