When they first came to deliver the merchandiseThat I signed An agreement forThey delivered to wrong address. Additionally, they became very harassing and threatening, including the district manager, Joshua. I'm late on my payment and they threatened to break into my house with the sheriff to recover the items I'm renting to own. I've been very transparent with them regarding my having to make late payment and my neighbors have stated that they continue to sit outside my home even though I told them I'm away until July 28th. They have been seen by my neighbors walking around my house looking in windows and this is purely harassment and illegal business practices by casing my home and circling my house , property and neighborhood and looking in my windows all around my house. My neighbors have informed me of this as my community has several neighborhood watch residents on my block. . I will be calling corporate legal dept and potentially the police to file trespassing and harassment reports, likely. An employee Alex asked me for money and for a six pack of beer and employee Tony threatened that they and the sheriff will forcibly enter...

I would have to say that everyone that works at the Rent-A-Center East Chicago Indiana. Are the BEST people they are polite friendly and caring. My first experience was when I went to Rent A Center in hammond they lady was very rude and didn't explain things kind of maded me feel uncomfortable. So I walked out. Few weeks later I went to the East Chicago things was completely different. The gentleman that helped me was Alex. He is an awesome and caring person. They answered all of my questions. I would have to say they delivered my things very fast. They guys that delivered my things very nice and did a great job setting everything up. I feel as though Rent-A-Center East Chicago Indiana went out of their way to make sure that I had the my things delivered on time they were very respectful and honest and kept me informed which made me feel comfortable with the product that I bought so thank you to them and their team that they have...

The worst place to do business no one seems to know what they’re doing there. When you ask them a question no one seems to know. They will call you and tell you complete opposite things all in the same day. I’m pretty sure they are pocketing money when I made my first payment they asked that I give them a portion in cash and the rest on my card that would be charged monthly when they gave me my receipt it was only for my card and my starting payment was listed for a lot lower than what they told me I also witnessed them buying food stamps from someone walking in so I wouldn’t put it past them to pocket my cash. The only way to get any help in this store is by calling the district manager nobody else is good...
