Ordered online as I have for the past 5 years. Never a problem until today. Walk in, took 10 MINUTES for someone to acknowledge me. After which I was told it would be a few minutes and someone finally came to check on my order and told me it would be 30 minutes yet because they had a lot of call offs and were running behind. Fine. It happens. An hour later.. 5 other people walk in, stand there and aren't acknowledged. Finally guy goes over and checks the rack himself and yells out he'd like to pay for his order and leave.. Someone, young manager who is new at this store begrudgingly comes from very, grabs his order and heads to the register to check him out. Meanwhile, I do the same thing and there is my order. When I paid. Nobody had marked my box I paid and was waiting. I asked the manager if this is how he always runs his store anf he didn't respond.. He didn't even acknowledge me. I told him I'd talk to corporate about that then and under his breath he said "good luck with that!" rude little punk of a manager. With 5 people working, there should had been No issues. I used to work at a Pizza Hut Delco unit and on a busy Friday night we handled orders with 3 people on the line and they couldn't manage with 5? Horrible. ...
Read moreToday was a bit of an aggravation when trying to order food from here. I use GrubHub usually to place orders, because it is fast and easy. I received a text back from a random number not associated with GrubHub, stating that there was no delivery driver available. I ended up calling the business directly, and the person on the line said, "We only have one delivery driver, but you are not in our jurisdiction". Funny thing is, this Papa Johns is actually six minutes away from my residence, making that a lie, in which I stated that to the person. Then he changed his story and just said, "Well because we are busy and we only have one driver, I couldn't even tell you what time it would get there". I understand being under staffed and might be unable to give fast service, but that is where you give a person time frames instead of cancelling an order prematurely. This gives the person the option to complete the order, which in turn is good service and I would think most people would appreciate the notification and concern of prompt service for their patrons.
In the end, lied to about no delivery driver, then lied to about being outside the jurisdiction... could've been handled better and I am disappointed in the service this...
Read moreOrdered food online at 3:52PM. The website said delivery should be approximately between 4:33pm-4:43pm. I watched the tracker move through to preparing, and then just sat there. At 4:53, I called to check on the order and they put me on hold for 8 mins. I hung up and called back and twice they picked up the phone and hung up immediately. When I chose the automated option to speak to the manager, I was on hold for another couple of mins before someone answered. I asked about my order's status, and they responded with "Do you want to cancel?". I said I wanted my food, but they said they had no drivers. At this point my pizza was done +20 mins ago, so it was already cold. I asked if I waited, would the food eventually show? They said yes, but they had no drivers. I told them to cancel the order. They responded that the refund will take 3-5 business days and hung up.
This is not first time I've had this type of issue there (twice before), but this will definitely be my last. I was under the impression the previous instances were "one off" issues. Clearly this is standard operating procedure there. Under no circumstance should anyone get food...
