Ordered a Chicken Bite Box for my son and they asked if I wanted to add a drink so I said yes I guess, the employer then asked medium or large I said medium, as I pulled up to the window to pay she responded 9.89 cents so I replied how much is the chicken bit box she replied rudely 3.69 so I said for a medium pop makes it 6 more dollars and she said yes so I asked if I could take the drink off and get a spicy chicken sandwich with no cheese for me and the total went back up to almost 11.00$ but as I gave her the cash I was adding up what I thought my total should be around when she replied I took off the pop but thats when i realized she didn't put money in the cash register she handed it to the other employee so as I waited for my change I seen the other employee not just put my 20$ bill in her pocket but take the 9$ in bills out her pocket to give back to me and as all this took place I've been waiting not know over 10 maybe even 15 minutes with no one behind me in line or waiting in front of me so when I got my food not only was there so little chicken in my son's chicken box but my spicy chicken was literally thrown together to the point I didn't even eat it and the reason I didn't go back was because it was late in a town I wasn't familiar with, and I was by myself with my youngest son and didn't want to cause any confrontation, so this is why I'm telling you about my last and only visit to this (Rally's in Hammond Indiana on Indianapolis BLVD and 167th Street). So if you're out that way in the day or even late I would go a few blocks up to MCDONALD'S if I were you is all I'm saying and there you go for why and what happened to me at...
Read moreI'm torn because Rally's has been one of my lifetime mainstays in my fast food menu, but this new way they handle things ain't it. We pulled up to an empty drive-thru and were told to pull to the window to order. This is annoying because how am I supposed to remember the names of the stuff or make impulse orders at the window? We place our order with a young girl who seemed really new. I won't fault her her inexperience. What I will fault is the two button-down wearing "managers" in the background gabbing away, until I see one go and drop our tenders in the fryer 7 minutes after we received our receipt! 5 more minutes (now with a full line of people behind us) and they ask us to pull up into a spot. They bring out our food a full 20 minutes after we order it, and STILL gave us the wrong sauce. I go up to the door to get the correct sauce but they've locked the lobby! Had to walk to the window! At least the food was hot and good, because if it wasn't, you'd probably be reading my review from some dumb clickbait article "They gave him the wrong sauce and you won't BELIEVE what...
Read moreShould not even be getting 1 star. Just picked up a DoorDash order there and the man in the drive-thru argued with me that he already handed that order out. I call the customer on the phone, and she tells me she’s watching her notifications and has never received her order- the furthest notification stated yet is when I got to the restaurant. I go back through the drive-thru again to see if maybe he didn’t hear the name right. Once again he argues saying he already handed the order out “to a red car” before me, he will not remake the order or dispatch it out again. The red car pulls up in back of me. At this point I’m pulled over getting DoorDash support on the phone. HE TAKES THE ORDER BACK FROM THE RED CAR AND RUNS IT OUT TO ME. Anyone who has ever worked in the food industry knows this is a HEALTH CODE violation. He let the other driver take off with the food for who knows how long, return it and is now handing it to me to deliver to a customer and refuses to re-make the food. I have delivered close to 600 orders and this is my first time ever accepting a Rally’s order....
