O3-22: Richway Gyros is an outstanding source for the finest carry-outs in the area!
Orders are accurately prepared & beautifully packed-to-go by the nicest people. Salads are well-constructed, sandwiches are HUGE (When's the last time you had a 12-inch Sub that was really 12-inches?), & you get a bang-for-your-buck with everything on the menu.
I know I'm waxing on, but - hey - when it's LOVE ...
Update #1: Richway's new WRAPS are AMAZING!
Update #2: Grab an instant warm-up with the great chili or lemon-rice soup offered!
Update #3 (06/23): I'm always hesitant about change, so when Richway introduced its online ordering option, I shrugged. Moments later, I became a fan! It's a quick & easy way to design your meal with all the combos one could desire; to securely pay for your purchase; & to choose your pick-up time. One & done, as they say!
I need to reply to folks who are aghast that Richway & other vendors now upcharge for extra items like a gazillion packets of condiments & cups of sauce: think VOLUME. If you handed out, say, 2400 FREE extra cups of ranch sauce per week as the demanded add-ons to orders, in addition to the numerous gratis gimmies that we've grown to expect in our take-out bags, just how long could your business stay solvent?!
Richway goes out of its way to ensure that you're a happy diner! 'Nuff said.
Update #4 (11-23): Richway has the BEST Lemon-Rice Soup in the Calumet Region: midway between a broth & cream, full of diced chunks of chicken breast, with a kiss of fresh lemon that's neither drab nor mouth-puckering! It soothes the soul!
I also implore you to try their Chicken WRAP (different from their Chicken PITA). Do the Wrap with extra tomatoes, extra cheese, & extra ranch for an extra-special meal-and-a-half! Ya' need to go...
Read moreAbsolutely the worst food I've ever had in my life! Gyros meat was old, hard and nothing but greasy! The meat was shaved so thin, it was crunchy! Tzatziki had no taste whatsoever. You can't call that tzatziki... thats nothing but sour cream and tiny cucumber chunks thrown in there! Ive eaten gyros in many restaurants, cities and countries, so I know what it is supposed to taste like! Cheeseburger was burnt and burger patty was half the size of the bun! Fries were old, cold and hard! Don't get me wrong, I like my fries crunchy, but these were the worst and hardest fries I've had in my life! That's $35 thrown out of the window. I'll never come back! Save your money and go to Nick's Gyros in Dolton... as a matter of the fact, go anywhere but there! I never leave negative reviews, but this was honestly so bad, I just had to! It looks better on the pictures than it does in real! My 4 yr old LOVES fries and wouldn't even eat them! Would give it 0...
