Ixxa Coffee Roasters — Restaurant in North Township

I went here for the first time last week. I was really impressed! I googled "best coffee cafe" and found this little cozy place. I pulled into the lot and figured it would be small with no place to sit. I was even MORE impressed. The seating area was not too big, not too cramped, but just the right size. I walked in the door and immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere was so warm, really warm and welcoming. The staff was so friendly and informative about all the drinks. They even showed us some of their specialty tea and talked about their plants (which they do sell), and told us about all the live events they have throughout the month. I fell in love with this place and definitely will be going back for sure. I tried the matcha tea with some of there almond bread. I was hesitant because I didn't know what to expect for flavor. Needless to say, it was delicious! I see why they have 5 stars all across the board. I can't believe this place is so underrated. Prices are reasonable, staff is friendly and knowledgeable about everything about this place, and the ambience is just what i need in my life! ☝🏽 SERIOUSLY! GO THERE...

My experiences here have been nothing short of amazing. There are tons of tea flavors, syrups, and milk alternatives that suit me much better than any of the over the top coffee shops or commercial places suck as Starbucks or dunkin. I’d much rather come to ixxa and spend my dollar because the cold brew and lattes are perfect. Not to mention, everyone that works here is very kind, they enjoy interacting with the customers and assisting them with tailoring your latte each time along with a friendly chat. I think it’s awesome there is a rewards system! They also have this nice pay it forward board for anyone looking to have a free drink for whatever reason. I recently moved to whiting and transitioned to a job that is partially remote and was on the hunt for a great coffee shop to visit and do work at on my remote days. Every visit I’ve had here has been pleasant and the coffee never misses! My favorite is the iced brown sugar latte with vanilla cold foam. The owners are so kind and helpful and you can tell they make coffee with their hearts and are so genuine with their intentions and service to their customers. Today I did a sound bath class for the spring equinox after hours with one of the owners and it was an amazing experience.
