Purple Steer Restaurant — Restaurant in North Township

I would like to say that I have been going to this restaurant for almost 20 years. Over those years I have always felt that the food was good as well as the service, however the LAST 2 X's HAVE RUNED THAT BELIEF. Yesterday, I ordered the nachos as I always have , the exact way I always have & after reviewing them I noticed they were missing ingredients I requested and INCLUDED ingredients I requested Not to be included. Simply put, I asked that I only receive lettuce, cheese & tomatoes on my order. On both occasions I either got just cheese or included jalepenos or all. Normally, I go here during the evening, but I came during the afternoon, where this RUDE, INCONSIDERATE, UNPROFESSIONAL SON of the Owner runs the cash register. When informed and shown that the order was incorrect, he got huffy with me because I asked that it be prepared as I requested. THE 2ND TIME, I identified the same and he told me I should have identified what I didn't want instead of what I wanted as they piled on a bucket of onions, which CAUSES AN ALLERGIC REACTION. In stead of preparing a new order he tried to pick off the piles of onions stuck in the cheese out & hide it by placing a pile of lettuce over it so they could not be seen. As a person that came back and identified it, without an attitude, I really feel violated as I could have said and done many ignorant things. However, I TREATED IT AS A MISTAKE THEY MADE AND JUST SOUGHT TO HAVE IT CORRECTED. When I called to inform them, I got the same person on the call & he continued to be his rude & insensitive self. He wanted to know if I went to the doctor, what did the doctor say and other things that showed no level of compassion of their malice. Not once did he say, he was sorry for the mishap or apologize that the food caused a sickness. He felt justified in questioning the doctor's diagnosis and what methods the doctor performed , despite me informing him the onions cause an allergic reaction and required a hospital list and a shot to combat the swelling of the mouth! I am so livid and disappointed, because I have always enjoyed my meals here , however I have noticed a decline in service, not from the staff, but him during his time there , which diminishes the enjoyment of a meal. I will no longer go there & WILL INFORM ALL MY FRIENDS, RELATIVES, & 25k followers not to do the same as they are not worthy of our business. As a public servant & 1st responder , I see first hand how dangerous allergic reactions are! Since he doesn't care , his carelessness could have caused a near death experience, I want them to know we won't tae that chance agin. Obviously, he doesn't care, so let them know we do by not...

HORRIBLE. AWEFUL. DISGUSTING. Restaurant was DIRTY. Service was so bad, we should've known right away to TURN AND RUN. Unfriendly, inattentive uncooperative, disinterested server. Disgraceful manager.

Initially, when starting the order we asked to split the check, which is "not possible", we were told. NOT. POSSIBLE...?

We ordered 6 various cheeseburger meals, plus 2 other meals. The burgers were cooked to hockey pucks, dry as bones, and were either FREEZER BURNT or ROTTEN. Completely inedible! The taste was nauseating! The waitress couldn't do anything about it-- her words..."I can't do anything about it." I asked to speak to a manager , who then sent a message back to us saying they didn't use frozen burgers, so we were wrong.THEN, after insisting to speak to him directly...he insisted we were scamming the restaurant, told us it was our responsibility to hunt down the inattentive waitress or flag him (how were we to know he was the manager exactly?!? Got me...) down to tell them the burgers were bad BEFORE taking a bite! HUH?!?!?

It was the most bizarre, unbelievable, nasty place we've ever eaten in. We offered to pay for the 2 meals that were NOT rotten...yet he still insisted we pay the full bill. I laid down $20 and walked out.

I cannot imagine how exactly this place still keeps it's doors open...

The restrooms (both men's and women's) were disgusting...my son wouldn't even use his...and he's a 16 year old boy. How bad is THAT!?

RUN AWAY FROM THIS HAVEN OF FOOD BORN...

Been going here for 20 + yrs and I have a big family .Today I went there to get 7 meals (chicken tenders) usual , the old but younger owner (male) shoves my big bag with all the meals in that little take out window to give me my order and it barely fit .I got to my distention and started passing out the meals to my kids the last 2 containers fell completely apart and all their food fell on the floor as I was trying to hand them out. Me working customer service for 10 yrs with 10 hour days called and only asked for one replacement thinking my 2 youngest could share, and I would have been reimburse since I always spend nearly or over 100$ was told there's nothing they could do. Smfh it was my kids food it's dam near 7pm I just got outta work I went there so I could bypass cooking dinner so late for my children but here I am outta money and still cooking . I really thought after so many years these people were reasonable smh...
