!!!!!!!!!NOT DISABILITY FRIENDLY!!!!!

If it was possible to leave 0 starts I would. Made an order approx 3pm on a Sunday afternoon, we spoke to a nice woman on the phone while ordering as we have a special needs child and had to explain if it was possible to get peapod chicken but have the peapod on the side due to our sons sensory issues. She was so kind and accommodating and even recommended we ask for no garlic! As SHE mentioned “we wouldn’t want him not to eat it” and we thanked her! She was awesome.

Now whoever the woman is dealing with actual costumers in person…is horrific! We walked in and right away she began to lecture us “you don’t do that” “you get peapod chicken no vegetable next time” kept repeating to us “don’t do that again” we explained to her as well WHY we ordered the way we needed to…she told us “I don’t care next time no vegetable” we let her know we won’t be coming back as we normally go to lung wahs in Hammond where they ALWAYS accommodate someone’s sensory issues. Trying to rip off a family with a large order. If I’m paying for a large peapod chicken why do YOU get to withhold the vegetables I’m paying for? It’s included in the menu! With the price!

costumers training needs...

Food aside, I am so greatful for the massive lesson in culture I got from King Chop Suey. First off, the place had authentic silverware that said it was made in China, but the chef worker distinguished things Made in China from what 'China' is (which is nice Chinese kitchenware) which is the same word as the actual country oddly enough (kinda confusing). Secondly, I was wondering if part of becoming a sumo wrestler was eating a lot of Chinese food, and he said that though it is possible, they are Japanese, and let me know that China and Japan are actually different countries (but pointed out a lot of similarities between the two since the Japanese stole the original Chinese culture) I feel a little bit less ignorant now. The world is a big place and there's so much to learn. Even the same word can have many different...

Never, not a penny. He (mr hong) only takes cash. Not a sign anywhere just embarrasment after a $50 order and no way to pay in cash no atm, no cards.. i have to ask why? Are his all women, barely english speaking, staff getting their unemployment and social security paid? There's no excuse in this day and age that is not suspect for this kind of book keeping b.s. not to mention that there's probably no sign cuz he's afraid of getting robbed of all that cash!!!! grow up mr hong and fly right we need your taxes paid and your staff properly taken care of to give you one penny of our hard earned, taxes paid on, cash. And if what you are doing is legit, post a sign in your window so we know b4 we come in what you are all about--- and invite the long overdue oversight and audit your...

Amazing customer service, the food is what I remember growing up on, old school Chicago Chinatown. You will not regret, my husband kinda likes Chinese food...he was devouring all the food. We had General Tso Chicken, Beef Kow, Shrimp & Beef Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon, Egg Rolls, & fresh Tea...we had more then enough for dinner the next day. Loved it!

Singapore rice noodles are always delicious! I just wish they had some eggrolls that don't have meat in them. They have the spring rolls, but I didn't care for them much. I wish they were closer to me, but I'm willing to drive the 20ish minutes to get it because it's pretty dang good food! The prices are normal Chinese food prices.
