If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This place doesn’t deserve any stars at all. For starters, my wife and I went to this place for dinner because we really wanted Chinese food and were really excited to try it since it was a place we’ve never tried before. Well we got inside the restaurant and the atmosphere was just horrible. The lighting was very dimmed and the restaurant was a bit dirty. The food was absolutely disgusting and my wife and I couldn’t really eat it. We literally eat anything, but we just couldn’t finish eating the food at this place. I found something slimy and gross in my food and my wife found something black that looked like mold in her food. The food was dry and cold as well. Definitely not what I expected. It was supposed to only be $27 for the both of us, but it came to $35, which I feel like was rung up wrong since the one who cashed us out was a literal child. If I were you, I’d stay away from this place and find somewhere better to go for Chinese food because this place is not worth it at all.

This place has changed hands again within the last 4 months. I have had dinner here 5 times or so in that time. They are consistently good quality. The pepper steak is excellent- moist and tender with great bell pepper flavor. The variety of dishes on offer is very good, but the quality of the food and the flavor is above what is being offered elsewhere particularly in this very inflationary environment where every other restaurant is trying to find ways to make cuts. I would also like to point out the pastries in the last photo are known here as egg cakes. These egg cakes are unique, with a perfect sweetness and excellent exterior crunch with moist rich interior. Absolutely excellent and you will love them! This place is very very family friendly! Bring your children it will be ok, no one will mind or be stuck-up! I'm loving this new iteration of Bamboo garden.

So extremely clean, nice friendly people and the best Chinese buffet I ever eaten. Fresh food and so many delicious choices that I would definitely try this place again sometime in the near future.

I ordered Chinese chicken wings 12 bucks for 8 two orders $22. I got home and opened them up expecting Chinese chicken wings with fried in peanut oil. What I got was split wings with one drumstick, they were brown ,no panko crumbs, they smelled bad and probably fried in used vegetable oil. They smell and look like they haven't cleaned the fryer for a month. I ordered House special lo mein, I will give further update with that ,kept that. I have been in this area for 20 years, that restaurant has always been cursed. It had good owners once but they couldn't afford to stay there.

I have dined in there recently under New Management, it was late, I thought the food was there for quite a while. But I took that up to being late. I should have never ordered takeout. I thought under New Management would be better.

Make a smaller menu keep it fresh. So I tried to eat the House special Lo Mein. I had to flush it down the toilet. It was to say the least terrible, hardly any meat no flavor I asked for no soy and MSG, so if that is their whole source of flavoring, I guess to be expected. I swear it was fried in also in vegetable oil, with a burnt greasy tastes just like the wings .

I do not know how this place got any good reviews. People need to get out more. Such a shame I was really looking forward to some real Chinese chicken wings and House special. What's weird is they actually were offended, like it's okay for you to eat crappy food what's wrong with you. By the way I never post bad reviews for any other restaurant.

I don't even know how it got a 3.7 rating with all the bad reviews, Google is definitely biased or their...

Second edit: I'm editing this for a 2nd time because we will actually no longer go here even though it is right down the street from us. The food is horrible and has been the last couple times we went. Its such a shame cause the place was great right after reopening under new management. We now go out of our way to avoid this place at all costs. Edit: Since re-opening 6 months ago the food has gone down hill quite bit. They switched the lomein noodles to a thinner noodle and it's just not the same. Overall the food just isn't as good as it was after opening. Also thought more improvements would be made, but they stopped after the first week or so. We have been going to the "old bamboo garden" for many years and we're absolutely devastated when they closed. The new owners have done a great job with the place! Every time we stop in they have made some updates to the decor and I swear the food just keeps better and better! 5 stars all around! So happy this place has reopened and the food...
