I recently visited Little Wall, a small, family-run restaurant offering Chinese and Hong Kong-style cuisine, and I was absolutely charmed. The cozy and homely atmosphere made me feel like I was dining in someone’s welcoming kitchen rather than a restaurant. It’s clear that this is a labor of love for the owners, who not only manage the place but also serve the food.
The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and impressively fast. Each dish arrived piping hot, straight from the kitchen. Highlights of the meal included perfectly crisp scallion pancakes, flavorful egg rolls, and a comforting bowl of beef noodle soup, which was rich and satisfying.
Little Wall is an ideal spot for an intimate date or a quick, casual lunch. While the seating is limited, which might be tricky for larger groups, their takeout option is a fantastic alternative.
I would highly recommend Little Wall to anyone looking for delicious, authentic food and a warm dining experience. It’s truly a hidden gem worth...
Read moreOrdered 1 hour ahead for pick up. I stood there in a line holding my toddler for -wait for it over 15 minutes-without even a nod..the line did not move - no kidding. Meanwhile the phone was ringing off the hook and instead of getting people there out the door, they just kept taking orders. The front staff was clearly stressed and didn't know what to do, hint kid - your next right move is the person standing in front of you. Then all staff dissapeared to the back and we were all literally waiting with no end in sight. I said, screw it and checked the bag on the front desk - sure enough was my order and so dropped cash and left. My kiddo was fine with the grub but man, pass next time - sorry. Oh and I don't know if this is a legit offshoot of Great Wall, we once asked person at Great Wall and as if upset she said "I do not have anything to do with that woman [Little Wall].." Seems sketchy...Too bad we could use good reliable chinese...
Read moreAt first, I used Little Wall for takeout because it was close to Cooley Dickinson Hospital! The chef's skills are truly remarkable, especially when it comes to bringing out the authentic flavors of South Chinese cuisine. I was so impressed with the deliciousness that I decided to visit Little Wall again.
The Dragon Skin dish was exceptional; the flavors were incredibly vibrant and the texture was just perfect. It's evident that a lot of care and expertise goes into crafting each dish. Additionally, the Kejia Style Stuffed Tofu was a revelation – healthy, flavorful, and simply delicious. Around 6-7 stuffed Tofu with sauce, it's a good option to share with friends, especially if you're like me and can't eat too much.
Overall, if you're looking for an authentic South Chinese culinary experience that's both healthy and incredibly tasty, look no further than Little Wall Restaurant. Highly...
