I don’t get the positive reviews of this place. The atmosphere is wonderful, largely due to cool merch and an awesome space. However the food and drinks are subpar. Very limited selection of both (the banner outside says “simple” coffee and that is 100% accurate. Drink menus lacks standard fair (cappuccino, macchiato, cortado), food choices uninspiring and limited (scone was stale, as if from previous day). Service was quick but neither friendly nor rude. Most complex drink ordered was chai latte—disappointing as they lacked skim milk and also didn’t make drink well (drink was not mixed well and consisted of almond milk floating atop chai concentrate. If you DON'T try this place you are seriously missing out! I will go back again and again. So quaint and cozy.
