Wow. I’ve been obsessed with coffee most of my adult life, and I’ve been to many coffee houses in several countries. This is probably the best I’ve ever been to, and I don’t say this lightly: the mocha served here has the perfect balance of bold espresso, rich chocolate, creamy steamed whole milk served at the perfect temperature for immediate consumption. I waited approximately 60 seconds for my order.
The pastries are insanely good. Caramelized sugar on the bottom of the cinnamon roll with pumpkin (cream cheese?) icing that is decadent, fully featuring the pumpkin without overpowering the beauty of the cinnamon roll. I also got an egg and cheese sandwich, which didn’t look spectacular but was still honestly way better than any egg and cheese I’ve had in recent memory. I think it’s because the egg wasn’t overcooked and came properly seasoned. Cheese was melted enough to be gooey, but critically not too melted to lose the sharpness of its astringent flavor.
You walk in and are hit with the beautiful smell of coffee and pastries. The decor is cool. The atmosphere is inclusive and the staff gives a damn. 10/10 I might eat here every day. The best part… is that it blows away the competition in the area. There hasn’t been a REALLY good coffee house in the central MA/Metrowest area since Sofa Café closed, and this one is somehow...
Read moreI am from MA, but have been living in Seattle for 6 years. Every time I'm home, I go looking for a great coffee place in the area. I had never tried Aero and was hopeful for some high quality beans based on all the good reviews and their enthusiasm for supporting the LGBTQIA2S+ community. What a horrible let down.
The folks working behind the counter were rude and by that I mean that they were dismissive, didn't make eye contact, and were generally unprofessional. The coffee itself was not great. I would give it a 4.5/10, which is a shame since they roast their own beans. I ordered a latte and the coffee was very clearly burnt. I'm honestly upset that I spent $6 for something undrinkable. I ended up tossing it and making my own pour over.
I will commend them for having a great alternative milk selection and for their commitment to honoring Pride, but this is not the place to go if you're looking for a quality...
Read moreBy coincidence I came across this lovely place yesterday when I was looking for a coffee place that offered dining in as I had a first time meeting with my boss who is town and I am not from the neighborhood either. The quality of both the food and the coffee is excellent and all Covid social distancing advice is adhered to qua positioning and seating. Above all the friendliness and customer service is exceptional. At closing time we were offered to stay as long as we liked even though they were closing and also offered us pastries. Since we were the last ones there, we also had some interesting conversations about the different types of coffees and offered samples. Highly recommend the Aero Coffee Roasters especially during these...
