Good pizza but at what cost?! Ordered at 5:30pm on a Friday night. The order told us it would be ready in 60-65 minutes. I arrive at 5:25 to pick up my pizza. The parking lot is full with people parking in double rows. I finally get a space and walk inside to join 10 other people waiting for their order. 15 minutes go by, 20 minutes go by.....finally they start saying to people they are running a half hour behind....it is clearly more than that by the people waiting and numbers getting called. Now everyone is working hard and moving fast but their is clearly a lack of organization. After standing inside for 45 minutes, I get a text that my order is ready. I notice no pizzas coming up. I hear a worker say what do we need for my order number. He then sees my pizza put in a box for an order 10 after mine. If he hadn't accidentally completed my order. I would've been there even longer. The worker making chicken and salads is working on a different time so peoples salads and chicken are sitting at room temp for 45 min.
It wasn't until they kept saying they were 30 minutes behind that this worker realized and asked if he should hold off on making the chicken.
At this point the lobby now has about 20 people in people are showing up for their pizzas before they are even being made.
I look out the window the parking lot is jammed and cars are parking across the street on both sides and walking over and then pulled on the side of rt 20.
They were sold out from taking additional orders before my pizzas were done.
This time is unacceptable, figure out how many pizzas you can actually cook per hour and dont tell everyone they are 30 minutes behind.
Seeing all of the people waiting I suggested to the front staff to call people and tell them to show up 30 minutes later to avoid upset customers. I was met with a deer in the headlights.
The pizza was good, the system and customer service is not. It is unacceptable to be 45 minutes behind cooking pizza and not proactively making phone calls to assist people. For the sake of hoping this pizza place survives, I felt giving this detailed review. They need to figure this out or people won't be willing to pay the prices they are asking for good pizza.
Exactly 45 min after my order was expected to be ready I got my pizzas. We ordered 3 pizzas but the Detroit Vodka Meatball was missing its ricotta cheese which was the reason we ordered. So and hour and 45 minutes for 3 pizzas and one to be wrong. Cost $71
Again good pizza but...
Read moreSeriously? They use Artificial Intelligence technology to take your telephone order. After picking up the order and opening the box at home, we discovered a key ingredient that we were charged for was missing (this is the 2nd time this happened to us). So we attempted to call the Northborough location upon discovering this to complain and request a refund for the extra charge incurred for a missing ingredient, only to not have any luck with bypassing the AI operator to speak to a human. Soooo - as a desperate next attempt feeling ripped off, we called the original Hopkinton location and spoke to a deadbeat human who claimed that the Northborough location “phones were down again” (hence the AI phone joke). Again? He said he will contact the owner (Alex) who will refund our order. But the Hopkinton human had to be force fed our order details and he did not instill us with any confidence that we will receive a refund. This business model is a recipe for FAILURE! Get a clue, so-called Manager(s). We won’t be returning and we will spread the word to advise our community to steer clear of this pathetic lack of customer service establishment. MESSAGE TO THE BLUE SQUARE OWNER: “Wake up and good luck. Wherever you studied business should refund your money for any perceived education...
Read moreThe pizza is average at best. If you like Crispy pizza (super thin) with a dash of pizza sauce and a sprinkle of cheese, by all means come and spend $21 for 1 pizza 🤣🤣🤣. If you want that one-time boujee experience, go ahead and grab their Detroit pizza, since there aren't many places in MA that sell it. The Detroit Pizza was pretty good with the ricotta cheese, keep in mind, its literally crispy/hardened pizza, if you bite it wrong, might cut the roof of your mouth. The Detroit pizza is worth it however, be prepared, the sm is 4 pieces of pizza and that's priced at $15... You're either going to love this overpriced pizza or be as deceived as I was... 🤣🤣🤣 Give it a try. Your car is your picnic table btw.
Oh by the way; showed up here after Dave Portnoy's review... (man's a menace) He rated this pizza joint between a 7.9 and 8.1... The man's taste buds are so basic you'd think this is incredible pizza. Also, when I arrived, I immediately knew I wasnt welcomed... It was the stares in the parking lot. If you're a person of color, pre-order and...
