EDIT: Holy shamoley their Friday special Steak and Cheese sandwich is the best sandwich I ever had in my entire life. See the picture for perfection. The rest of this comment is from last year and still rings true: Yay for their first day! I’ve gone to the store that used to be in this location (Paired, Poured and Plated) once or twice for wine and it was fine but to combine a wine selection with some delicious sandwiches is more my speed! FYI they cannot sell alcohol until their liquor license is approved but that should only take a couple weeks so be patient if you come visit them this month! They have beer and cider too, just on display at the moment. Okay now for the sandwiches. My partner and I got the west main and the park vale, and we thought they were delicious! Mine needed a bread substitute but that was totally fine. Nice size for the price. I also purchased some marinated olives and they were scrumptious. Their was a giant wheel of honey goat cheese in the prepared foods display that I want to try next time! They also carry a TON of near and far goods in their retail section, including MOESHMALLOWS!! I had the pleasure of trying these locally made marshmallows at a brewery I frequent and them having a cute food truck so when I saw the churro and vanilla flavors available at Gather Provisions I HAD to pick up a bag! I can’t wait to try their homemade, from scratch tomato soup the next time I visit. Chef Erin Anderson was extremely nice (as was her assistant) and I’m looking forward to enjoying whatever she decides to make next as she gets into a groove! If you’re looking for lunch or dinner in the Northborough area give them a chance, I’m happy I did!

It's not my first visit to Gather Provisions. It's tucked away in the corner of the plaza with Lala Java and Rancho Corona. I have been a few times and really enjoyed the The Goss (freshly roasted turkey sandwich!) and The Thorndike (roasted eggplant!). The flavors are such an exceptional blend. My most recent trip was for a limited edition lobster roll...get yours before the summer is over on Sundays (order on Fridays). I will admit, I normally have my lobster rolls as hot buttered on a toasted bun...(yes I am from CT) but this by far was the best lobster salad roll I have ever had. It was LOADED with succulent lobster and light on the mayo with special flavorings added that only Erin can do. You will not be disappointed. (See photo - sorry I took a bite before I remembered the photo). There are cases of side dishes to make your meal complete. Do yourself a favor and stop by and treat yourself!

I heard about this place ages ago and finally made here to see what might be gluten free … lucky me … I was able to get the Fay in a gluten free wrap and it was delicious especially since it didn’t fall apart. The sandwich was a harmonious combination of flavors and textures. I’m already looking forward to going back and I haven’t even left yet.

There is no possible way to enter that place and not be captured by the delicious aroma of the food served there. I went in just to take a look, and was instantly enchanted by the smell of spices, and how beautiful all the food looked. Had to try a couple things. The chicken salad with walnuts and grapes was perfectly seasoned, delicious and refreshing. But the roasted vegetables were AMAZING. I couldn’t stop appreciating each bite. There was a touch of warmth, and sweetness, and savory, tangy… Made me think about Ottolenghi recipes that elevate vegetables to be the star dish. Will definitely go back to get more food.

Perfect if you can’t make lunch or dinner, or to take out for a picnic. Or to cater and impress your guests 😊. I’m glad my dear neighbor recommended me this place.

P.S.: The food was so good that I didn’t even think about...
