I've eaten sushi at so many places in the region and around the country. It pains me to say so about a place which I would like to support, as it's fairly local to me, but this place is kind of awful. I've given it three times; once a couple of months after they first opened to allow them to get it together and twice more, yesterday being the latest visit. The only kind remark I can make is to the server who was friendly and tried to be helpful. I ordered a cucumber salad and it came with fish on top. Nowhere on the menu did it describe the fact that it had fish on it. The sushi had rice which was considerably, and obviously not fresh nor were the vegetables used in the sushi. Beyond the fact that I can wrap sushi more properly and at least two of the pieces of sushi were slightly unraveled with little to no points for any semblance of a presentation attempt. In the Japanese culture presentation is everything, particularly with sushi dishes where it gives a chef an opportunity to be creative and shine. Beyond that the sushi was terribly bland. When the waitress asked the sushi chef to correct an order, he walked away and gave dirty looks not only to her, but to us as we sat at the bar waiting for our food. The noodle dish tasted watered down and pretty awful with limp and tasteless vegetables. If it were the first time I had a bad experience here, I would most certainly not be writing this, but three times really means it just is not a very good place. We will go to Westborough or Milford for sushi night, for sure. I wish the owners the best and hope they make some dramatic improvements in...

Just walked out after a terrible experience! If I could give 0 stars, I would! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! My husband and I walked in for the first time and stood at the check in stand for 7 mins (mind you, it was not busy at all) before a young girl came up to us and told us to sit at the first table on the right. She didn’t walk us to the table (like a normal host would do) or hand us menus or take our drink orders, just pointed in the direction of the table and went back to sit at the far end of the bar with other employees. We sat at our table for 18 mins and not a single employee came to us. They checked in on every table around us but avoided all eye contact with us as if we did something wrong. We tried waving someone down but the entire staff was at the far end of the bar hanging out with customers who were clearly very intoxicated. The tables around us were even shocked at the service being put on towards us. I’ve never been so blatantly singled out or felt so...

This place is a bit depressing. The place feels flat, customers at the bar told us to just sit wherever. The server was okay, but had this look and energy about her as if she was nervous/terrified or was working against her will out of fear. Maybe that’s just her personality. She was okay, but definitely added to the “something feels really off here” energy. Food was overpriced in my opinion. $8 for 2 beef skewers that lacked depth and flavor. I’ve had better from hole in the wall spots. Hibachi combos were just not priced to try, so I went with a side of rice and skewers. The spicy shrimp tempura udon wasn’t bad, but we were expecting dry udon or the option. Also, definitely not spicy. Dessert was gross, the matcha crepe looked like it had been sitting out forever. Tasted stale and old. I won’t do a 1 star as I’ve been to worse places, but this place needs to be brought back to life. If you’re craving this type of food, I’d say go...

My brother had the black and red dragon sushi, and I had the teriyaki chicken on a bed of fried rice. My meal started off with a salad that was really very good. The teriyaki chicken that I ordered was perfectly cooked and laid on a bed of fried rice with stir-fried vegetables on the side. I also had a non-alcoholic pina colada that was very tasty. My brother also said that his food was excellent. However, I can not attest to this since I did not try his food. The atmosphere was very nice with some background music. Prices are very reasonable considering how good the food was. I will definitely be returning for a meal to this restaurant soon.

Stopped by Kyoto here in Northbridge, it was close and the reviews were quite good. I ordered sushi and a hibachi steak dinner. The sushi was very good as well as the steak and zucchini. The service was also fast and friendly. The starter salad and soup were not very good to be honest as well as the fried rice. The restaurant itself is small and the tables are not the greatest. But it was overall a pleasant experience with good food and good service. Also to note the prices were very reasonable and surprisingly not too expensive.
