Ordered $80 worth of takeout and the lady said it usually takes 10 minutes. I thought she was joking but it actually took like 13. I don't know how they're so fast. What's pretty odd is they don't have different sizes for any dishes. Eggroll and spring roll comes with 2 per order.
Eggroll - It tasted ok but odd. Mostly cabbage and ground meat. Soft and not crunchy at all. I don't usually like eggrolls to begin with though I like spring rolls.
Spring roll - Very big. It tastes decent but is a bit oily inside and is about 95% cabbage and 5% carrot. Absolutely nothing else in it.
Boneless ribs - Good flavor but very dry and not charred.
Crab rangoons - Nice wontons but it's literally plain cream cheese inside. No crab/krab whatsoever. Very disappointing.
Hawaiian fried rice - It tastes pretty good. Good amounts of various meats (chicken, ham, shrimp). Very little egg and onion.
Marco polo - It tastes very good. Tender ground pork. Not much of actual sauce though. Massive downside is it's about 1.5 servings of lobster sauce with 4 servings of plain noodles. On the menu it says it's on pork lo mein but it definitely wasn't. $19, extremely expensive for plain noodles.
Duck sauce - Delicious, I want to drink it.
Hot mustard - Watery but doesn't taste bad even with the hint of nail polish remover smell but in taste form. If you're looking for an alternative to fire for your tongue this is it.
I probably wouldn't go back for a long time seeing there is much better places for Chinese food but this place wasn't nearly as bad as some...
Read moreThe food wasent bad, some dishes we ordered were different this time, than last time. And I liked last time better. So long story short we had the older Chinese lady(owner?) as a waitress, our bill came to $128 (for 4 people, it was a birthday celebration) the lady's service was ok, not the best in the world, but fairly decent. So we tipped $15, that's over 10% and closer to 13ish %. All of a sudden she gets very rude, slamming plates, doors, talking in Chinese pointing to us. My mother, worried she didn't tip enough, asked if $15 for the tip was ok, and the woman outright said no it was not, she said wanted a MINUMUM of 15%. I was shocked, my mother was going to pay her more, and I said no, how rude of a person to outright say they were not tipped enough, when they got a $15 tip, that's more than I make a hour! (and we were there less than a hour, 40-50 min she was already asking if we want to pack up to leave) there's a lot more I can write, but do not go here, trust me, you will regret the attitude you get. And to the lady who this involves, I hope you read this, and I hope you understand, a tip isn't garenteed, yes it's common, but still you should appreciate what we have given you (i could see if it was like, a $4 tip, but don't mouth off to the coustomer! We're the ones who full your pocket!) I will never return, nor recommend this place to anyone. Go to family wok, so much nicer, cleaner, friendly, and they THANK YOU for your buisness! Sorry China p, when you closed, you should have...
Read moreWe went there which was a bit of a drive. We heard it was under new management. It was about 3 pm couple days ago. The place was filthy, cold and the staff could barely walk with obvious lack of energy. I asked for tea and she said oh we don’t have Tea? What Chinese does not have tea? Then we look at menu for over 15 min before he shuffled in to ask if we wanted a drink. When we were again approached 15 more minutes had passed. I asked if I could substitute for house rice as it stated on menu for $1.00 more. He says oh no we don’t do that on holidays. It was New Year’s Day. I said well the menu says any day substitute. He looked like a deer in a headlight and just stood there... We got up walked out and drove to LONGHORNS IN...
