We love this place before the move and we were so excited for the reopening. We went tonight and honestly it fell a little short. The hostesses were not very friendly (first impression) they definitely seemed like they did not want to be there. I get they are teenagers but come on. They were out of quite a bit. I get it’s a new location but not new to the business. Kinda annoying. Got rid of poppyseed dressing. It seriously made the salad and it was the best around. Please bring it back. I always had ordered the kids pasta with penne (I have a 2 year old and long is MESSY) and she said they don’t change the noodle for kids pasta. It’s a noodle… really!? I did it alllll the time at the old location for my 5 year old when she was young. Idk that just really annoyed me. It’s not like there is a huge difference in pasta type prices. I get cost of business. $4 for a soda and and 5% FIVE percent credit card fee is insane. 3% is the new “standard” seems excessive. Have menus. QR codes are annoying. Plus I couldn’t find a drink list with prices. I planned for some wine but couldn’t find a wine list. If you don’t plan to have a menu at least add a tab for drinks in the QR code. We probably would have ordered more with regular menus and our server asking if we wanted dessert. Instead she just dropped the check. Food was pretty much the same, except where was my huge cracked pepper in the Alfredo. That really set it apart from others. The venue is pretty and I know they did a ton of work but not many tables and not as cozy. We will be back, just maybe after a few months once they work...
Read moreMy parents and I visited this restaurant yesterday after we went to the MGM casino. We are from Pittsburgh. The food was incredible. My dad and I had the New York style pepperoni pizza which was amazing. The crust was perfect, the whole pizza was perfect. My mom had the fish sandwich and fries which was great as well. The fries were amazing (just like potato patch at kennywood), and the fish was flaky and tasty, not some frozen, breaded fish filet. The restaurant itself was very nice as well. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is our waitress was a bit inattentive. She was very young, so we let it go, but she didnt give us silverware or napkins when she brought out bread, and didnt bring plates when our pizza arrived. She also never asked my mom if she wanted a coffee refill. Not a huge deal. The food made up for it. I was also slightly surprised they still have plastic menus (instead of disposable) and they also still have cloth napkins. I'm not sure of Ohio's covid 19 rules about restaurants, and I think PAs rules are a bit stricter. However, I feel like just for sanitary purposes in general, they should think about getting those things. All in all though, great restaurant. If you are in the area, definitely consider going here. The food is authentic...
Read moreWent here early on a Wednesday night. Dining room was full but it is not a big place. First off the bat the table was sticky as hell. The menu would literally stick to the table and make a noise like a piece of tape being pulled off when picked up. Our waiter finally addressed us after waiting for over ten minutes. He took our drink orders and we placed our food order at this time as well.
As we waited a couple was seated at the booth across from us. Their server came to them immediately and placed bread at the table and took their drink order. Moments later she arrived with their drink order and at this time took their food order. A few moments after that their salads had arrived and we still have not gotten our drink order. Finally our drinks arrived and I noticed we, unlike the couple sitting next to us we’re not given straws.
At this point this point the table next to has now received their entrees. A few moments after that our entrees arrived. Apparently they had completely forgotten about our salads..
Bottom line very lousy service. I will be very reluctant to go back here again which is a shame because the food itself...
