Sarpino's Pizzeria Northbrook — Restaurant in Northfield Township

As a loyal customer who has ordered from Sarpino’s Northbrook at least twice a month for years, I am compelled to share my recent, deeply disappointing experience.

On a recent evening, I placed an order expecting the usual quality and service. Instead, I waited over an hour and a half for delivery, which significantly disrupted my family’s evening routine and delayed my children’s bedtime. When the pizzas finally arrived, both were completely burned—inedible and far from the standard I’ve come to expect. Additionally, I received the wrong sauce, despite having paid extra for the correct one.

I attempted to resolve the issue by calling the restaurant. After multiple attempts, someone finally answered and assured me that the correct items would be delivered within 10 to 15 minutes, given my proximity to the store. However, it took another hour for the replacements to arrive, by which time my children were already asleep, and the meal was no longer needed. 

When the delivery driver arrived, he had only brought the sauces—no pizzas. He appeared confused and had no answers for me. He called the manager in front of me, and she stated that the order couldn’t be canceled but offered two free pizzas for next time. This response felt dismissive and failed to address the immediate issue.

I expressed my frustration to the manager, explaining that I didn’t want to pay for this order and that there wouldn’t be a next time. It’s disheartening to see a place I once recommended to friends and neighbors fall so short in both quality and service.

I hope this feedback prompts the management to address these issues and restore the quality and service that once made Sarpino’s a reliable choice...

If I could give more than 5 stars, I absolutely would. This pizzeria is the definition of quality and care from the very first bite to the very last. You can immediately tell how fresh everything is — from the dough that’s clearly made fresh daily, to the vibrant, flavorful sauce that tastes like it’s crafted from the ripest tomatoes, to the cheese that’s so fresh it practically melts in your mouth. Every ingredient bursts with authenticity and flavor, and it all comes together in the most perfect pizza you could ask for.

On top of the amazing food, the staff here deserve just as much credit. They’re welcoming, attentive, and genuinely care about making sure you have the best experience possible. It feels like they treat every order, big or small, with the same level of pride and respect.

What really sets this place apart though is the convenience. Their late-night delivery is an absolute lifesaver, especially with no delivery charge and no minimum order — something you rarely see anymore. It’s thoughtful touches like that which make me not only a satisfied customer, but a loyal one.

This isn’t just another pizza spot — it’s a place that goes above and beyond. Freshness, flavor, great people, and unbeatable service. Easily my go-to for pizza, any day...

Checked into Red Roof Northbrook/Deerfield on a video graphic tour of the area North of our base in Evanston, our Publisher’s home base and on a day when America went dark, and one could not buy anything at Northbrook Court...

SARPINO’s NORTHBROOK to the rescue!!

Northbrook completes the territory covered by the Evanston Store and our first order (JUST Sodas [Sarpino’s has NO delivery charge and NO minimum order size]) and delivers like the Post Office intends, regardless of weather, and F-A-S-T delivery too!

The food is GREAT and the prices so reasonable that you have to splurge on the catering menu to overspend in order to have leftovers for DAYS...

UPDATE: Vlad, apparently takes my kindness in the above review for weakness, as he really does continue to owe me for an undelivered but prepaid order [$37] since about the time I left the Sterling review above...he also has stopped allowing my phone number to be used for orders (though, as former Security Chief for The Mayor, that never stops me from fulfilling my mandate, and as if 18 USC §1343 [Interstate Wire Fraud] punishable by $1M fine, 10-20, and restitution were my own personal...
