Landmark Inn — Restaurant in Northfield Township

We were told we could sit any where we would like, most tables had a reserved sign, that was confusing. Take a seat at a table without one, it was just cleaned with the bill still sitting on the table from the previous customers. No napkins, no silverware, and the waitress arrived some time later. She was rude from the moment she approached our table, but still gave the fake "I'm kind" attitude. I can count how many times this lady rolled her eyes at me after I asked for the soda options. When I said I wasn't ready to order yet, she stormed off saying I can give you a moment. That's when the lack of service truly kicked in. We waited for her to return, ordered and got our food. All of her encounters with us were brief and short, food on the table, didn't ask questions, left. Didn't leave silverware for us to eat our food with, or napkins. My Sister had to keep getting up asking the employee behind the bar for help, great job Matt. Sorry Jenn, but your fake kind attitude didn't cut it, you gave the worst service I have EVER received in a sit down restaurant setting. I understand you may have been busy, but you didn't have to neglect us completely, or give a rude attitude. Learn to be kind. A casual tavern in downtown Northbrook offering traditional bar food and drinks. One of the few places that serves food late on a weeknight.

Stopped in after 9pm on a Tuesday and this place was packed with softball teams - kids ,parents and coaches . We waited about 20 minutes for a table but our server was super efficient and friendly.

Started with their appetizer platter which was good in quality and the portions were very generous. The loaded tots were amazing!

Also had an order of their Buffalo Wings (Medium heat)which were tasty and meaty . Again,huge portion.

Others in our party had one of their half pound burgers and a cup of chili. No one complained and said the food was delicious. Menu is huge!

If you want a casual atmosphere with good food,this is a place to try.
