Book Bin Northbrook — Local services in Northfield Township

Can't believe this is our first time here. It will definitely not be the last. They have a nice selection of books and I am sure they can order anything else you want. I enjoy getting out in the community and buying from small businesses instead of the darn Amazon convenience.

I wish there were more stores like this around and people got out more to help support them instead of the giant companies.

Oh and the turtles are just fine the tank is nice and clean and my 8 year old approves so not negative reviews...

I absolutely LOVE this book store. As soon as you walk in you feel like you are in the “shop around the corner” from the movie “you’ve got mail”. This is such a wonderful book store with a small town vibe. They have all the current and best books you’d find in a typical B&N, but it’s much more personal and comfortable. I’ve only been once since I’m new to the area, but I plan to be a regular customer who brings my little girl for many years to enjoy the experience of a “real” book shop around...

So happy to see the Book Bin is still alive and well! I grew up in Northbrook on Ferndale ln in the 70’s. And I remember riding my bike to the stores in that area. There was a Ben Franklin next door that had a great candy selection. But I remember your bookstore and how cool it was. I’ve been a life long reader ever since! Haven’t been back to your store since the mid-70’s as I live in SLC, Utah now. You must be doing something right to have survived all these...
