I am very disappointed. I haven’t been here in awhile and my family ate lunch here today. The food was delicious. It was fresh and we didn’t wait long. The waitress was young and seemed new, had to get up and get my own menus, napkins, utensils but honestly that wasn’t that big of a deal to me. It wasn’t busy just three tables and the one next to us was done an paid for. I got the check and the prices didn’t reflect the menu. My son got Fettuccini Alfredo with chicken and it said $14.95. The price on check was $20.95. To me that’s a big hike. Our appetizer said $6.95 and charged $8.50. My tuna melt, which first came out as a tuna sub, and I said I wanted it as a melt like the menu says and they changed and it was delicious. But they charged me for tomato, lettuce, fried onions but menu said all came on it. My husband got the Scarpariello pizza and it was magnificent. I went to question but cashier was probably 16, but looked 12 and she said she didn’t know so the waitress came over and said the prices are not what’s on the menu. I was like ummm that’s not right. I said you have to change the prices. I probably wouldn’t have ordered the fettuccini. I was very nice and they just stood there and wouldn’t say anything. I’m like you do understand what I am saying right that this isn’t right. It’s probably illegal. You have nowhere where it says prices have changed. I paid my bill-the higher one, and will call back because she said no one was there as a manager or supervisor and the owner had just left. Just beware of the prices. Ask before you order. It’s a shame because I probably won’t return unless the owner says something nice but the food was phenomenal. And I know everywhere is struggling with no help but there was plenty of help there today and food got out very quickly. It’s just the blatant lack of caring. I know they are teens but they should know what to do and who to call if there...
Read moreI'm not writing this review to destroy their business - nothing like that- and to be fair I know people who rave about their pizza, but this food was pretty abysmal. We spent $51 without the tip, and we are throwing it all away, so I want to save someone from the same situation.
The calamari soaked in the sauce like that just ruined it. Deliver it with the sauce on the side, no one wants mushy half breaded anything ever. The marsala, with "homemade" fettuccine was just bad. The fettuccine didn't appear homemade, which would be fine if we didn't pay extra for it. The noodles tasted like they sat in a watered down sauce with just the slightest bit of watery flavor on them , and the chicken tasted just slightly better. The chicken parm, man- in Jersey no one has an excuse to serve a chicken parm this bad. The sauce tasted like it was poured out of a can , not a marinara jar, but a can of tomato sauce. Not one drop of seasoning, one cut up tomato- nothing. It was terrible, and usually the cheese should be shoved under a broiler( which I attempted to do prior to eating it, but abandoned it after tasting a noodle) to get bubbly and tasty, this is plain white. We tasted a bite of each thing and just tossed the whole meal.
They delivered super quickly, which is wonderful -and why I gave two stars-but the food was just not good. There are too many other places that take longer to deliver, but the food will taste better, might be cold, but I'd prefer that over any of...
Read moreI remember going to the shore mall specifically for capri pizza. It was a staple and so amazing. I just ordered from there for my family and the first experience I had was the deli every driver told me I didn’t order drinks. So he went to the car found out I did order and told me that he’ll refund me and said “I’ll refund you, yeah it’s ok don’t worry about it” like what? Whatever then I ordered a Stromboli when I opened it up, it was small and thin and was almost a gray color. I got bacon in it with sauce. And a sauce on the side and got mozzarella sticks. They forgot to put the sauce in it and decided to give me 2 small sides of it to make up for the Stromboli. So I took a bite of the cold stromboli, which was cold because of how small it was, and dipped it in the sauce. When I tell you I gagged I’m not even joking. The “marinara” sauce was a cheap speghetti sauce that I have never tasted in my life before. I ate the damn Stromboli because I felt robbed and didn’t want to let it go to waste. Took a bite of the mozzarella plank and it was rock solid cold. And they gave me the same horrible “sauce” to dip it in. I’m so annoyed right now which is why I even opted to write a review. I don’t think they deserve a 1 star because I haven’t tried everything, but again, I’m not going to be going back again. Sorry it was cheap ingredients and very underwhelming and honestly...
