New update.
Recently ordered again. Placed the order online at around 5:20 PM. They stated the food would be delivered within 90 minutes. I called them at 7:00 PM for the status.
The employee on the phone asked me if I was sure the food wasn't delivered. I stated that I'm calling you so I'm guessing not. He says to me the delivery driver stated that she delivered it to me. I stressed that's not true, that's why I'm calling you. He says your order was two hours ago and your calling now.
I was livid to say the least. He was accusing me of stealing food that wasn't even delivered. I asked to speak to the manager and explained my situation.
I was a long time customer but to get treated like that. Their food isn't cheap. I'm very disappointed with this establishment.
I don't recommend this business. I have to change my review. Today was the first I haven't order from Little Italy.
The past couple of weeks, I've ordered pizzas. Each order seemed not to be handled with care for the customer that's paying a decent amount of money to order food.
The last delivery was that the pizza cheese was all on one side. The older gentlemen delivery driver is great.
The order before was the kitchens fault, the order before that was something else. I hate calling back an establishment to complain or advise.
I've done my fair share for this establishment. I'm done....
Read moreGreat service especially for a busy Saturday night. Three of us had easy prep light meals on a hot weather evening: Caprice Salad, Eggplant Stack (basically a Caprice with fried eggplant); Greek Salad, Calamari to share & Pizza with Pepperoni. The oil dip for the bread was so delicious. Bread was ok. Requested extra Basil for our Caprise salads & had NONE on them. What! Must have been a big communication problem with staff. The tomatoes were good beefsteak cut extremely wide so we needed steak knives to cut them down. Mozzerella Cheese was of decent quality. The fried Eggplant was a good quality with Panko crumbs. The Pizza was good. The Calamari was the worst we've eaten in our lives & mean it. It was written on the menu as a "Chef's Speciality", Ha! Was it Bung? There were no tentacles which is an indicator of imitation Calamari. We each tried one piece & discarded it-tasted terrible. The server was so kind & understanding. If it wasn't Bung than please order a better brand of pre-breaded commercial Calamari.
Again, we thought the best part of the evening was the service and hardly the food as none of it was anything special or outstanding. We were seated outside and the conversation had to compete with the heavy Saturday night traffic. Oh well. Sorry this was such a disappointing review. Making better...
Read moreLittle Italy Pizzeria & Restaurant is a true gem that our family has enjoyed for years. Whether it’s their incredible pizza or fantastic lunch specials, we always leave satisfied. Recently, we celebrated a beautiful Mother’s Day lunch here, and it couldn’t have been better.
The service was top-notch—special thanks to Sammy and another young gentleman who made our experience even more memorable with their attentive care. The food was simply outstanding. We indulged in a variety of dishes, each more delicious than the last. The Chicken Parmigiana was a hit, as were the Nonna’s Sunday Gravy, stuffed Flounder, Eggplant Parmigiana, and Veal Parmigiana. We also tried a fig jam, prosciutto, and smoked mozzarella pizza that was a delightful blend of sweet and savory.
The soups and salads were just as impressive—the escarole and white bean soup and Caesar salads were fresh and flavorful, perfectly complemented by sesame semolina bread and garlic dipping oil. Every bite was a chef’s kiss! We wish we had more photos to share, but trust us, every dish was a feast for the eyes and palate.
