Moody's Coney Island Diner — Restaurant in Northwood

Terrible service. Long story short: waited 50 minutes, asked for my food, "it will come right out" cashier said. I finally complained about the waiting time, they couldn't find my food, cook refused to make my food, since he said he already made it. Cashier didn't know how to refund and offered to pay from her pocket, which I ofcourse declined. I requested for my food to be done so I didn't wait almost an hour in vain, cook continued to decline, standing inside the kitchen with his arms crossed, time he could have used to make it right and give me the food I paid for. Server said she had given the food to me, but I was waiting in front of the register all this time and I had nothing with me. cashier kept saying she didn't know how that happened... and no one could give me my food I had been waiting so long for. They searched to go bags and couldn't find it. I opened one bag and it was right there, sitting on the counter, lost amongst all...

This place is not that good. Everybody giving the hype. They dont season food. This Mediterranean is blan no seasoning. Rice has no flavor. I can cook better rice and Mediterranean chicken. Than this and I put money on that. And make a better sauce. It was garbage. The younger lady had attiude problem. With a black person. You can how people looking. Its all good. I will never eat there. The guy wasn't cleaning grill. See all kind of burnt stuff. Wasn't changing his gloves. I threw all my food. Fried chicken wings are frozen and they want seven bucks. There not even fresh. Just terrible. I knew not trust them people. Really good. I think not. More like slop. I never had Mediterranean food taste that horrible. Chicken was old. Hummus had no flavor. I know the one in toledo is way better than this. Selling prefry chicken wings. Taste freezer burnt. I will never step foot in there again. Service...

My girlfriend and I had gone here many times over the years but due to my work schedule being different from hers the last 5 years we had not been here. Now with a new job we were able to return to Moody's. Even though we always enjoyed it they have really cleaned the place up but the food and much to our surprise the pricing is still a great deal! We will now be eating there again most likely 2 times a week for dinner and for breakfast on Sundays like we did in the past! I wish we had more small places like this that are comfortable and reasonable.
