Pico's Mexican Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Northwood

See this place everyday heading into work so i had high hopes for this.....😫

Ok first the good. This place is super clean.90% of seats have a straight line to a tv. Keno can be played here. The chicken chimi was tasty . The kids chicken tender meal with fries is a good deal.

Now the rest....For only having 3 tables worth of customers i felt the service was a tad slow.The Jumbo margs tasted super watered down.there only 11 bucks so i shouldnt have been expecting much but I had to get a straight shot of hornitos for 6 extra dollars and add it just to taste anything at all.Should charge 15.99 and just put an extra shot in them.They need the frozen marg machine using a blender makes them watered down even more. The booth we sat in had a wobble so bad we had to get up on move to another table. Like a 2 inch swing the kids pops spilled on the table in seconds. A six piece regular size mozzarella stick is 9 bucks.....should be 5.99 at most.THE PICO HAD ABSOLUTELY NO TASTE HOW YOU GONNA CALL THE PLACE PICOS AND HAVE THE MOST PLAIN UNFLAVORFUL PICO IVE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE?Damn throw some cilantro in there it tasted like nothing.The guac on my combo plate didn't look fresh. Definitely didn't feel like I got 68 dollars worth of food and drink.One adult meal an order of mozzarella sticks kids chicken tender meal 2 Jumbo margaritas and 2 kids drinks. Staff was nice and place was clean but we won't be back we left disappointed and it just didn't meet my standards of a great...

Pros: One free basket of chips with salsa. Food was good. Cons: $3 up charge for naked wings($18 for 10). $3 charge for more chips. If you order their cheese dip you don’t get chips with it you have to use the free basket. Cheese was sooooo runny(flavor was amazing) order was wrong(asked for no croutons, asked for sauce on the sides of naked wings, asked for coleslaw on the side), if you like sauce you’ll get PLENTY(Caesar salad was drenched, wings were drenched but Medium sauce is good). Lastly, unfortunately it took about an hour to get our order we were one of two families there besides about 4 people at the bar.

Would love to see how they’re doing in a few more months and things...

I’m so disappointed in the service! So they let you buy vouchers for there restaurant , with nothing in the voucher under restrictions that you cannot use it for to go orders. So I call in a to go order because we have things going on and I try to use my 50$ voucher and pay the remaining! I try to pick up my order and am told the manager doesn’t want them using them for Togo!! So wouldn’t you think you should put that on the voucher and not make up rules...
