They steal - do not go here. They charged our card twice, said there "was an error" and that they needed another card. They charged that one as well - overcharging us by about $100. They slightly altered the $ amount when they charged the first card for a second time. If it was an accident, why would the bill change? It wouldn't. But different amounts keep credit card companies from detecting the fraud. I hoped it was a misunderstanding, despite how bad it looked. So I drove all the way down there, baby in tow. When I got there I explained what happened only for them to rudely dismiss me and walk away. They said the manager wasn't there so too bad. First of all, I find it very hard to believe that they were operating without anyone of authority present. Second, I insisted they at least call the manager or do something to return the money they wrongfully took, but they refused. They claimed they didn't have contact information for the manager. Finally as a concession and to get me to leave, they told me to leave my name and number and that the manager would call me to fix it. No surprise - they never called me back. Absolutely awful.
2/18/25 Update / Response to Manager If you read the note I left with my phone number, as you said in your reply, then why did you not call us to resolve it? Don't lie to us or to the readers. We have visited the restaurant many times to get this fixed, with our bank statement and credit card statement, showing the multiple fraudulent charges. Each time we are sent away due to the ever absent leadership, promised a call from a manager, and no one calls. This is blatant theft and deception. Read moreWell, it was our first time and our last. We waited to be seated for about 15 minutes....no biggie normally. There were empty booths and tables as soon as we walked in. Then, after our little wait, we were seated at one of the "empty" booths from the time we arrived. Once we figured out what we wanted.. ..not many healthy alternatives....to order, it took almost an hour for our food to arrive. We actually almost g ok t up and walked out. But, instead, we decided to ask po or waitress what the h ok old up was. She told us (very rudely) that they were under staffed. No problem. Just warn the customers when they arrive. After leaving our booth. She went to the booth behind my parents side and complained to those customers (regulars I'm thinking) how rude we were for asking what was going on. She said it makes her job harder. I was just staring at her the whole time she was talking. Once our food came out. It was Very under cooked....omelette (use fresh mushrooms too or state on the menu that you use canned)and toast (more like warmed bread) and we never got asked how it was. Then, the hostess came over with more coffee and started giving excuses. At that point we just wanted to pay and get out. We all agreed before the food came out, that we weren't going back. Read moreMarch 4, 2024. This is rather difficult to write and explain. I'll do my best. A friend and I met for breakfast. I had a usual, just scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and toast. All was very good. My bill $10.60 which was very reasonable. Service was good. My friend's story is different. She had a meatlovers omelet without ham and she always asks for an English muffin instead of toast.. The waitress says, No problem. Food came in a timely manner and her's also tasted very good. She then asked for a take home box and also another muffin to go. Waitress again says, No problem. When she got her check, it was $26!! There was an up charge of $2. for the first muffin exchange instead of getting toast and she was charged $5.00 for the "take home" English muffin! Her breakfast cost her $30.00! (with tip) We did inquire about the bill. The waitress just stated in a matter-of-fact manner that, I don't set the prices, I just work here". She was nice but not empathetic by any means. I guess next time we will ask if there are extra charges when an item is substituted. Also, being charged $5.00 for an extra English muffin, she should have been given the rest of the pack to take home!
