The Glenside Pub — Restaurant in Muskegon

This trip was very disappointing. We've been fans of Glenside Pub for years and have never been disappointed before. When we called this time, they said our food would be ready in about 25-30 minutes. Since we live about 5 minutes away, we waited 30 minutes before leaving. When i went in, there were quite a few people standing around trying to social distance ( except in the bar). After I paid, the cashier went to get my food and came back saying about 4 more minutes. Two or three other customers came in for take out and we're also told about 5 minutes, then 10 minutes. After waiting for about 5 or 6 minutes I asked if my four minutes was up. Nope, 5 more minutes. Then 5 more minutes, then a few more minutes, and a few more. Other customers got there food after waiting 5-10 minutes. All told, I waited for about the original 25-30 minutes after arriving. In other words, my order probably never got placed. Once we got our food, it was great like always. But the low rating is based on not being told the truth up front. I can deal with mistakes, but not this. We will probably go back, but it will be a while. There are too many other pizza choices...

I came here today around 11:50 and when i got here I waited about 10 minutes to be asked what I want to drink okay, I decided to brush that off and not get upset. Then when i went up to get mt second plate I came back and my check was there. I felt that this was a sign that the blonde employee with the side braid wanted me to hurry up and get out of there. I planned on tipping her too but I could tell she really did not want to serve me. The few times that she actually did come to serve me she was really dry and she looked like she would rather be doing anything else than serve me. At first I thought I was just imagining this but when she went to serve other people she was very loud and vibrant and all smiles with the other customers. I have experience with working in food service and I have never treated a PAYING customer like that and I have never been treated so poorly. This is not the first time the same lady has served me with the same attitude, I actualy stopped coming here for a while because of her. This visit was definitely a...

Glenside pub is a Muskegon staple. If you're looking for a great stop for dinner with the family or a place to meet with the friends, Glenside Pub is a place for you!

I've been to Glenside on more than one occasion. Tonight's experience (09/27/21) was as expected. They closed at 9 PM we showed up @ 8:25 PM. We were a little worried about being the last minute holdouts. To our surprise, there were still many patrons there. We were waited on by Katlyn (sorry if I spelled in wrong). She brought us menus right away and told us about Monday's special, a 13" or 17" Deluxe Pizza and a picture of beer. Perfect! Saved us from ordering a ton of drinks and we wanted a pizza anyways. When the bill arrived, it was under $20. Now that's a deal.

Glenside is great and they've got something for everyone. Support local, support often!
