im the type who looks at reviews first so i know what to expect and how hard i need to fight the owner on any issues i see with their work , basically go into battle prepared but also giving them a shot so heres my 3 star review pros : good customer service quick delivery , food was ok but nothing special cons: ordered boneless , food had huge chunks of bone and bone slivers throughout the meat , large amounts of skin all over meat litterally gave up eating the meat because most was not edible and felt some bone slivers would end up getting swollowed and mess up my stomach and intestines if not careful so litterally stopped eating the meat for my own damn safety .fried wontons usually are cream cheese filled in 99.9% of asian restaurants these have some bland meat stuff in them , also couldnt find crab rangoons on menu tips for owner : fire your cook . dont care if its family or not they are dragging your business down . my meal could have taken an extra 10 minutes to sort through and givin me a decent amount of edible meat they did not . change the contents of fried wontons to cream cheese most people who order these expect them to be cream cheese filled and are just disappointed that they are not. invest in spices and sauces and such .
overall: im being generous with 3 stars , people want what they order when it comes to a restaurant the food is the most important part of a restaurant your staff could be rude and service lousy but if you have the best food around you will still get repeat customers and newcomers that will just accept it but when your food is poor but everything else great it does not matter people will not recommend and will not come back . focus on improving the food and it will be ok . dont and this business will fail .im really not a picky eater this was just...
Read moreKind of odd hole in the wall Chinese place. I think it must be run by Thais, because man the hot and sour soup was too spicy to eat, just crazy. My wife and I each got a bowl, I could barely finish mine and I like spicy food. She couldn't even take more than one or two spoonfuls and she actually likes reasonably spicy food as well.
My beef broccoli was pretty good. But my wife had some type of Szechuan dish that wasn't labeled as hot but was also too spicy to eat .
The owner says they've been there for 40 years, I'm kind of surprised that they haven't figured out most people don't want food like that. In fact there was a single male diner on the table next to us who also ordered the hot and sour soup and had to send it back to get watered down because it was so spicy .
I guess all in all the pricees were okay, the food was okay if we could have eaten it, so be careful and make sure that you explain to them you're probably not a Thai hot #5...
Read moreI was still in a lot of pain from overdoing my therapy, so I stopped by to get something for supper. I was in no condition to cook that night!! My sister and I used to eat lunch there quite often pre-Covid and we just LOVE the food there! The portions are VERY large, (even for the small) and the prices are VERY reasonable... I LOVE the Pineapple Chicken and the Egg Foo Young Patties, and I bought both in a small size along with the Beef Entre for my husband...I went back to my Jeep and read my Kindle ( on the heated seats for my back😞) She made me jump, because rather than having me come back in to get the food, she brought it out to me so I didn't have to get back up!! I absolutely LOVE her, that is not the first time she's done that either!! She is always so nice...
