Crazy King Burrito - Finally Open October 30th — Restaurant in Norwalk

If the Florida Man caricature was a restaurant, this would be it. Before you can even order one of their D-rate entrees, you’re subjected to one of their F-rate Crazy King jingles blaring nonstop. I wrote jingles in plural because I heard at least 3 of them waiting 10+ minutes to prepare a single burrito when no one else was in the restaurant. But then there’s the food…no build-your-own option (are they too proud of their sophomorically-named numbered selections that we the people can’t have freedom of choice?), no black beans (guess that would be a DEI hire & too woke for their burritos?) and no pico de gallo (is that too Mexican for this place?). Great food, drinks and service! I had the Crispy Cali burrito (get some chipotle on the side), Ice Box desert & margarita. Alberto and the rest of the staff were very friendly and created a very welcoming environment. The atmosphere is friendly, and the setup is very inviting. There’s a game table to your left where you can play classic games like Pac-Man, Donkey Kong, and many more.
