Aromas Peruvian Cuisine — Restaurant in Norwalk

The food it’s great BUT THE SERVICE IT IS HORRIBLE, the first time I went k was ignored for about 13 minutes before they gave me a menu after that it took about 37 minutes and the place was not that busy I spend most of my lunch waiting and when the food arrived I had rush and eat. Two days after I go back (just to give them the benefit of the doubt) I arrive I was help within 7 minutes, I said to myself ok good. My food arrive in 26 minutes but they forgot to give me the sauce, I call one of the waitress because I ran out of drink( the same waitress that ignored the first time) and she tells me wait one second the one second extended that I paid for the food, I left the restaurant without my drink I had to leave the food because I could not eat anymore because the drink (in other words i was chocking with my food) the same person continue to ignored talking laughing and I’m still holding that second she said in which it never arrived. The service is AWFUL! I went there today July 27th at 9:15pm. The guy working there had a terrible attitude. I asked what time they closed and they said the restaurant closes at 10 but the kitchen at 930. I told him that I wanted to order to go, and he said that they were all out of food except for milanesa de pollo (a large chicken cutlet) with white rice. I agreed to order that since he said the was NOTHING else left in the kitchen. The guy who took the order acted like he hated working there and couldn't wait to get out. I understand that it's Saturday night but DO YOUR JOB! I don't know how someone like that works for tips. If the restaurant staff wants to go home early they should close earlier. Don't have the "open" sign on if you don't want to keep cooking and selling food. I hope the owner reads this and makes some adjustments because they will go out of business with that attitude. Seriously just go to Mochica it’s way better . I called for food and I wanted an arroz chaufa no vegetables. So either the chef is dumb because they think egg is a vegetable or something else. I live 30 mins away plus traffic was an hour . I called saying I picked the food up an hour ago and telling them that it had no egg (Second time this has happened to me with the same order). She started to make excuses saying the egg is very little and I probably can’t see it or they only put little . Last time they told me egg is expensive . The lady did not want to apologize and said next time ask for extra egg. Didn’t offer any parcial refund. Terrible place . And to think I was going to make my moms baby shower here .
