First time coming to dine in with my family and the service was horrendous. Starting off, we came in and no one spoke to us just stared at us for a good 5 mins waiting for what? I don’t know? and then after we told them our party size, they all looked at each other like there was a problem with our party size even though we had like 5 adults one kid no biggie typical party size for a family. After we told them that, they started talking among themselves as if they were arguing who would help us. Finally, they took us to our table but get this: when he was showing us to our table he was walking away without telling us to come follow him and as soon as he got to the table he’s like follow me. Our waitress was so weird about us ordering I wasn’t sure if she knew me from the past and we had bad blood because that’s what it felt like but she seemed mad and it was so uncomfortable. The food came all good. But when we asked for water, she got so mad and we couldn’t find her to ask for ranch we had to go up to the counter to ask for ranch! When we wanted to order more pizza, it felt like it was an issue. And when we tried to order more stuff, she would walk away from us mid sentence. At the end, was planning on tipping well, but couldn’t because we basically didn’t have the service for a good tip. Thinking maybe she thought we weren’t going to tip well to begin with even though we always do whenever we come as a family. I just think they need to be trained a bit better. Read moreI've have had multiple bad experience's with this franchise and their management but the last incident was absolutely ridiculous. My place of work is only 2 minutes away and I waited nearly 2 hours for my order. which i contacted them multiple times while waiting they told me the driver went to New Cannan which made no sense I asked to speak to the manager Brendan and Bre continued to put me on hold to the point where I had to hang up for being on hold so long. she continued to give me the run around I called 4 times then she tells me the driver is 3 minutes away and which i asked her why lie if you've had the driver ETA the entire time. Finally i was able to get a refund and speak to the manger he had no care at all he just continued to tell me he can cancel the order. The pizza then arrived cold . This experience by far was the worst our business gives Rikos so many orders and this is how they treat us. From the moment we arrived, the service left much to be desired. Our server, Jess, did not offer water upon seating, nor did she clear the menus after we placed our order. More concerning, she forgot to bring out the pizza for our daughter and never returned to check on our table throughout the meal.
We eventually had to speak with the manager, who was attentive and understanding. He apologized and kindly offered a complimentary pizza to make up for the oversight.
Unfortunately, the issues didn’t end there — dirty glasses and plates remained on our table until we left, and Jess never returned to follow up or clear them.
