Very nice pawn shop. If you want to browse no one is going to push you to buy anything. If you're selling, it's hit or miss. I st xs FB tooopped by 2 months ago and was given a decent price for a ring. I was a bit too sentimental and walked out without selling it. Big mistake. They actually quoted me oh really fantastic price and because of my inexperience with pawn shops I didn't realize this until I went in today and was offered over $100 less. I realize that it is on me that I didn't take the higher offer two months ago. Al the man who was sitting in the jewelry section is a sweetheart and he has a very very calming presence about him. When you're selling something in a pawn shop I can't imagine that you'd be all happy and walking on air so to have Al be so composed and patient and calming in his manner was a real treat especially when I realized I was going to take a big cut on what I wanted to sell. I highly recommend this pawn shop. They have a huge selection of crystal rings like spiritual crystals which I am really into. Al is so nice that he's going to hold one of these rings for me although I cannot confirm if that is the norm for him. There is cars speakers amplifiers vintage and antique coats and jackets lawn mowers, a good selection of jewelry necklaces bracelets a lot of really nice rings. Yankee peddler and loan has been here for years, Everybody is always so thoughtful when I come in with questions about other pieces of jewelry or I just want some info on antiques. It's super easy to get to, right on Main Avenue in Norwalk, close to i-95, and close to route 7 otherwise known as the connector. They're open Monday through Friday and Saturday. I must have driven past yankee peddler a million times thinking it was just a simple pawn shop. How wrong I was !! Yankee peddler on main street is not only the best local "go to" place to rent a u haul van/truck but where great customer service and satisfaction go hand in hand with the large selection of merchandise including fine jewelry they carry. I needed to rent a small truck for the day Joshua and Matt made sure the process from beginning to end was quick, easy and affordable. Joshua made sure that I rented the right vehicle based on the size and quantity of the items that I was moving. He also offered their pawn services in case there were (large or small) items that I wanted to sell and since I already had the van, it can be done when I returned the vehicle. I did just that. It was smart and simple. No need to make 2 trips. They offered fair value for my items and even told me to take a picture of some larger items to evaluate them prior to me bringing them. Saving me time and money in case , the items were not of value. Don't drive by them without taking a peak .. it the local store that always has one thing on their shelves.... Great...

They expedited the process of ensuring my metals were authentic, recorded the necessary identification docs, took pics of everything and advised me regarding how extensions worked. The metal are insured fully and I walked out with the cash i needed within half an hour.
