Wendy's Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Norwalk

Tonight was our first time trying Wendy’s. When I asked, I was told that I could combine/twist any two soft-serve flavors. I chose lemon and strawberry. I asked if they had chocolate-dipped waffle cones. I was told no, only regular waffle cones, but that they had chocolate to dip it in. Yay, works for me! I received a vanilla cone with a very tiny faint pink color ribbon around the outside top half, and the entire top part of the ice cream was dipped in chocolate. There was no chocolate on my actual cone. They have only one size of waffle cone, which I’d consider a medium amount. My husband got a marshmallow shake, which he said was okay. When I saw it, I thought maybe he got a child-size, but it was actually a medium. We paid almost $11. Two stars because of the nice outdoor space...

Would give ZERO stars if that was an option! Ordered a small cup of vanilla with gummy bears...one which fell on the counter, the person making it picked it up ... not wearing gloves and put it on the ice cream. When I said something about it she told me she didn't. When I told her I saw her do it, she said nothing and turned around to make another one with her back to me so I couldn't see what she was doing. She probably used her bare hand to put them on second one. Both older women working acted like they did not want to be there. Neither said anything when we walked in or when we left. The service sucked, and the prices are way to high!!! With what they charge, I'm sure they can afford to buy gloves for the employees to wear! Don't waste your...

Wendy's is your typical small town ice cream shop. But as the only one in Norwalk, it's popular. What makes it a notch above others is its wide variety of ice cream delights! Lots of flavors, a variety of cones, including waffle cones (my favorite!). Sundaes, malts, shakes, it runs the whole thing! Want candy in your ice cream? Got it. And they offer modest lunches of sandwiches...
