McDonald's — Restaurant in Norway

The food was fine but it was the staff that and facilities that left much to be desired. First the shared mens bathroom with the gas station had a issue with the toilet. It was full of... stuff and when I went to flush the toilet well turned out to be broken. On the door there was bathroom cleaning check sheet. I was there at 1pm 8/9 and the check sheet had not been updated since 8/7. The other issue was the nice young girl at the register. After I ordered a man waiting for his food said to the girl. Your diet coke doesnt taste right it's really weak. She just said okay and got him a new coke from her area. Same deal. Then she told him, oh sorry it's broken. Me, who has worked fast food automatically knew the problem, the syrup bag needed to be changed. When I said that she looked like a deer in headlights. She had 0 clue what I was talking about. She then said to her 2 co workers "this guy says the syrup bag need to be changed on the diet coke." Those 2 had no idea what that meant either. Then the manager came in and said he would take care of it for the guy. Short story long here but that is fast food 101. Granted the girl maybe new and was probably no more that 15 or 16. But I sure hope the manager uses this as a teaching opportunity for his staff and teaches them how their beverage system works and how to resolve these issues...

I have always enjoyed McDonald's. I probably always will. But there are times that they are very disappointing. Most of the times the french fries at this particular location are always. Cold dry and dead. It's unfortunate but some of the locations have a consistent fault of some type. This one service bad french fries in my point of view. The prices are sky-high. I understand things have gone up. At the dollar has gone to a dollar 29. To 29% increase at one time. I wish I got a 29% raise. The food's quality is not reliable. I had a spicy chicken sandwich. In the picture there were pickles and I asked to have the pickles held. They didn't tell me that it doesn't come with pickles but it does have tomatoes and. I also hate tomatoes and lettuce. Just kind of a blase waste of $11. And with the combo meals they don't even give you a large drink. It's just a small little thing might be good for my grandchild as a drink. Too bad they don't get it going like Culver's does. Like they even used to to do themselves even would be...

I’d like to know what happened to the regular crew at this McDonald’s in the last couple weeks? It’s like they all of a sudden disappeared and have been replaced by crew members from the McDonald’s in Irmo. The Norway, McDonald’s is one of the friendliest McDonald’s I have ever been to. The staff is phenomenal. The management does a wonderful job. Now, all of a sudden there is no friendliness no smiles no greetings just Anya a bag of food and go on your way. I would have a hard time understanding why all of a sudden you would replace such a great crew with all different people from another store. There is no problem with the food and that type of thing as they do a good job on serving the menu. But the difference in hospitality and friendliness is unbelievable. In fact, this is why I do not go to the Iron Mtn. store. Now they have allowed the Norway store to be infected by the same on...
