#1 Chinese Kitchen — Restaurant in Norwood

Aight, I’m gonna start with the food and service is gonna hit soon. We got the Gen Tso’s, Sesame Chicken, spring rolls, egg rolls, and Wontons. We live about 30 minutes away and even after getting back to the house, it all was delicious. Wonderful ginger flavors in the Sesame, the perfect sweet spice in the Gen Tso’s, fried rice to perfection. Best part, the broccoli was perfect. I mean perfect. Most of the time at other restaurants that ends up in the trash, but not here. If you don’t eat it, I’ll be ashamed of you. Portion sizes were almost overwhelming (if you think you can eat it all in one sitting, I commend you, we’re gonna get two meals out of ours). The fried goods definitely would have been better if eaten sooner, but even then, they were still delicious. The whole meal a solid 4.5-4.75 at eaten condition. Now for service. Got dang if it wasn’t fantastic start to finish. The person on the phone was a pleasure to speak to and clarified to make sure we were ordering what we wanted. Pickup was just as wonderful. The woman who helped me immediately asked how I was doing (twice) and told me to “take all the (guava) candies” on the counter telling me I needed to come back to let her know what I thought of them. I had a problem with them using friends debit card. They charged my friend for the meal, but then canceled it. They charged him two other times after that. When he showed me his bank statement, I saw that what he said was true. He called them and explained the problem. They hung up on him after threatening to call the police on him. Within 15 minutes they refunded his card. They are rude and apparently don’t know how to use their register or how to to make sure a customer isn’t being charged more than once. It all started with a super nice person on the phone. Very knowledgeable, so sweet and accommodating of everything I asked for. Ready in a hot minute, perfectly cooked, the flavor was as authentic as any I have ever had. Way way way more than I could eat in 3 meals!!! Price was very reasonable. We will be regulars here!!!!!!
