I went into the Fantastic Foods store in Norwood, NJ for the first time and was amazed at the international food sections, as well as the cooking classes they offer. The owner proudly introduced me to the products. Before I left, as I was at the register paying for the things that I had purchased, the owner asked me if I’d like to try the pecan pie. She noticed that I was cooking tempting it. It looked so incredible I wondered if it tasted as good as it looked. When I tried a piece, I was astounded at how delicious it was! I’ve never tasted anything quite like it! I’ve never had pecan pie, but this must’ve been a cut above the rest. The cinnamon flavor was divine, and I immediately ordered a piece for myself to go. When I got into my car, I couldn’t wait! I immediately devoured my delicious pecan pie. My father used to say it was his favorite but I bet he never had anything this good!! I wish he was around so I could share it with him but it made me happy to know that I now can share his joy! I immediately texted my friends to tell them about my experience! The owner tells me that they also serve crêpes. I can’t imagine how amazing they must be. I Highly recommend Fantastic Foods to anyone who is selective in their culinary taste and looks for international foods. I can’t wait to go back and bring my friends with me to have their desserts and...
Read moreI can’t say enough good things about this place! The hospitality was absolutely incredible—the staff was so attentive and genuinely kind, making sure every detail of our lunch was perfect. The atmosphere was spot on, with a beautifully themed design that transported me to the different countries they represented. There were thoughtful touches everywhere, from the stunning tableware to the themed bathrooms. You can really tell the owners poured their heart into creating an unforgettable experience.
The food? Unbelievable. I tried the middle eastern “greatest-chicken-ever-made”, and it was easily one of the tastiest meals I’ve ever had. The wrap was soft and warm, perfectly grilled, and the chicken was bursting with flavor. It even came with a side of baba ghanoush, which was so creamy and smoky—it paired perfectly.
And the best part? The prices were shockingly affordable for the quality and care that went into everything. The staff really made sure the meal was an experience (and one I can’t wait to have again!) I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu. If you’re considering visiting, just do it, you...
Read moreHOURS: Seems to have the hours of 7 am to 7 pm, food court opens at 11 for those curious. FOOD: I think personally, the Lebanese food leaves something to be desired (maybe more cumin?), you can get better quality and larger portioned halal style food for a similar price if you drive 10-15 more mins. That being said, their breads they sell here are magnificent and their soup of the day (lentil) was absolutely delicious. Their Nutella muffin in the pastry section had a similar consistency to the “little bites” brand, so it was mediocre, but their other pastries, particularly Lebanese, were far more enticing. Their pistachio pastry in the candy section was great. SHOPPING: The store sells lots of stuff you could find at Eataly or at your local Italian market. The selection is definitely interesting as they have Jounieh and Lebanese options. SERVICE: The place just started out so the service definitely varies. It was quite slow at the food court cashier. However the young lady at the pastry stand was very sweet and the woman running the show checked in with us...
