I got the brisket plate, with Mac and coleslaw for the sides, it also comes with a piece of cornbread. The brisket was absolutely immaculate, as tender as tender can be, super juicy and very well seasoned. Big points for using cavatappi for the Mac as that's my go-to when making Mac at home. I will say I think the Mac could benefit from just an extra dash from the seasoning department, but nonetheless is was extremely creamy. The coleslaw was crisp and not too tangy, just right, also the sauce is light and thin which in my opinion, is exactly how coleslaw should be. Coleslaw with a thick and creamy sauce just isn't it, so I am glad that was not the case. Now for the cornbread, just a slice of heaven right there. I am super biased because, well who doesn't love cornbread, but every bite you could tell it was made with love. I will 100% be back to try their other menu items. This place is easily the best bbq in the metro west and probably in the greater Boston area. The smoked brisket is perfectly done, juicy tender, perfectly marbled and beautiful rendered. The owner Bob is a brisket king. Beautiful brioche buns, absolutely delicious sides; Mac and cheese was so satisfying and the beans had a super unique flavor plus the collared greens had amazing flavor and were cooked perfectly. I found this place after searching for places to eat around my job. I was tired of eating the same old thing on my cheat days. Small place with great food. It is inside a honeydew along with a convenience store. They do offer online ordering, but since they just switched systems my order didn't go through even though I got an email confirmation and pick-up time. When I went to pick up my food he was able to make it right then and there. He was very sympathetic and apologetic and explained what happened. The food was good.
