Horrible experience. We arrived earlier than our original reservations, which had been called in for 7pm. The service was sooooo slow. We knew things were going to be busy since a large party was soon to arrive. A large table was set right next to our table. Instead of getting our order quickly and getting us started, before the large party arrived, I have no doubt the problems would not have arised (or been as bad) and the service would have been much much better. On top of the slow service, or lack of service, I ordered 2 appetizers as my meal. Mussels (which 4 were dead). I can understand if one dead mussel was missed. But 4??? The chef must have been asleep. When my meal finally arrived, I ordered a beer to have WITH my meal (not as dessert). The beer never arrived until I was done eating, while I stared at the 4 dead mussels. I was so hungry from waiting, I ate all the other mussels. I was willing to pay for the dish since I did eat it (but the 4 dead mussels). But due to the dead mussels, I couldn't stomach eating my other appetizer, eggplant dish, so I didn't touch it and asked for it to go. I told the waitress I didn't want the beer and the problem I had with my meal. She did nothing, but brought the bill which we gave her our credit cards immediately, because I was worried she'd disappear again. (Btw, I asked 3 bus people during the 2 hours we were there, to help with: finding our waitress, getting me a drink, and getting me a bill. I even had to go to the hostess stand to ask for my bill since it was taking so long). After realizing the beer was never omitted from our bill, I went back to the hostess stand, which they suggested I speak with the manager. The manager was very fair, I want all to know. She comp'ed the mussels and the beer (which I never touched), My friends at the table both had calzones which were both, very good. Too bad the service was so bad. First time here. Staff was great. Friendly. Seems like they just recently reopened after Covid hiatus. We happened on the place by parking out front and realizing the place we were going to was take out only so we thought why not lets try. We had calamari for app. Not bad. Portion was small. We all had something different. My carbonara was ok. Needed more egg/cheese. I had maybe 5 small pieces of pancetta. The gnocchi was ok. Sauce was good. My friend had the bolognese and said it was excellent. His wife had the Funghi Pappardelle and said it fell a bit flat. I took a taste. Needed salt. Two thing prevented a 5 star. First…Portions where pretty small. Leaning on true Italy portions but when you’re in Italy you also eating a lot more things to fill up on the cheap. And two..the price for the portions was very very expensive. 25-26 for a simple pasta dish was a lot. All in all good staff good food. I may try the pizza next time,...

I celebrated my daughters' 1st Communion here on May 4th. Loved it, loved it, loved it! The place was beautiful, the food was delicious, and the service was the best I've seen in a while. The staff was super friendly and helpful and our party planner was the best! She helped us out by setting up our function room for us, due to my event beginning early, and constantly checked on us to make sure everything was going as planned. She was the cherry on the sundae..she just made everything better for us. It was all that I had hoped for and more. My family and guests were all impressed with everything and stated that they too, will be coming to dine and set up functions here as well, due to the outstanding service we received from all.
