Royal cafe — Restaurant in Nottawa Township

I came in for dinner about 4:15 and was immediately hit with the smell of mildew. Nobody acknowledged me but a sign on the counter said to seat myself so I did.After sitting at the table for almost 15 minutes and watching while people who came in after me being served, someone finally asked what I would like to drink and tossed a menu on my table. I asked for iced tea which came quickly but had to wait almost another 10 minutes for sweetener and a straw. Another waitress finally comes to take my order which was a tuna melt with fries. I wait 20 minutes for my sandwich and the waitress comes over to tell me that she forgot but they ran out of tuna. I have now been here 45 minutes and have to order again. I was never offered a drink refill until I had already thrown my napkin on my empty plate. The food was good but service was disappointing. Can't see...

I ordered the Wisconsin cheese omelette and added bacon too it the cheese it is supposedly loaded with was like 2 slices of American singles cheese (processed nasty cheese doesn’t belong on a omelette) Wisconsin shredded cheddar cheese would’ve made the omelette sooo much better two different tables that came in after us somehow got their meals before we did I’m guessing they were locals. We had the back room reserved at 12:00 for 30 people for graduation from college for an RN. We tried to call several times starting at 11:30 and NO ONE would answer the phone. Got there and there were people sitting in the area we reserved because Mark had the sign out that said "seat yourself". It was almost 12 and they were just getting their food. Mark should have shut that room off at 11:30 but instead he failed to comply. We took our business elsewhere and will never go back. So bad...
