St Joseph County Grange Fair — Local services in Nottawa Township

Gone to fair for over 40 years, seems to get worse every year. Antique tractor club got kicked to the curb and slapped in the face by fair offering opportunity to outside club, farm truck pull got sold out to Ohio rules eliminated most popular class and added another that no one that nobody local has, raised price of rules for other classes without appropriate raising payback for investment. 2 nights of ntpa is great but the track is not ntpa worthy after a week of destruction to it. No quality Sat night concert anymore, and the concert that is taking place is imitation.100s of local people not happy with changes of rides area, 4-h, commercial areas, gate entrance and pit entrance as well as ticket access. The glue of the fair has passed and gone and some strong fair and 4-h support got kicked to the curb. It's a dirty shame. The tractor club that got kicked to the curb will be having its own show during fair week at a farm that is great 4-h supporter for many years. I don’t know who’s running this years fair but they should be fired! Absolutely terrible! They were so disorganized! But my biggest concern was the showers The showers are filthy and have nasty standing water in it! And god forbid you’re Touching anything metal in the shower while your bare foot touches the floor by accident you’ll get shocked! Literally! It felt like I was holding onto a dogs shock collar! That is so dangerous! And I know they don’t clean the shower regularly judging by the amount of hair that was clogging the drain for the past 3 nights I’ve used it! My family and I went this past Sunday early in the morning. There was no senior discount. I was told they stopped it except on Wednesday. The vendors showed up after 11 a.m. The barn where the companies advertise their products (gutter guards, products for your home improvement etc...was half empty. I went back thru it after 11 am to see if more the companies came and still no more companies. My neighbor went yesterday afternoon about 2pm and he told me it was still part empty.
