I could write a book on the Covered Bridge Healthcare services. They take care of everything, whatever the need. If they can’t address your health concerns, they’ll get you set up with the appropriate doctor. Not just for physical needs, on site is counselors, for mental wellbeing including grief counseling. I believe psychiatrist are available as well. There is also a pharmacy on site to fill prescriptions and provide medications you may need. To insure everyone can receive treatment it’s all income based or free. If you have insurance great but it’s not a requirement. The receptionist Deb works in the back, so I’ve never had the opportunity to meet her. However, she has a wealth of knowledge and has arranged or provided a great deal of assistance, (different people and different circumstances) for health care or otherwise. From children to senior care. Absolute pleasure speaking to her and everyone is treated with care and dignity. Case in point an elderly friend travelled here from New York with a limited income. Unfortunately he arrived not feeling well. Hadn’t seen a doctor in years and had no insurance. On off chance Covered Bridge Health Care might treat a non resident. I spoke to Deb and she made him an appointment for the very next morning. He seen a doctor, bloodwork and medication. She gave him agency contacts in his area for further assistance & scheduled appointment with medical specialists in his home state. I’m grateful and happy we have these services available. Everyone can have medical care no matter what their situation or finances are. I think this is so incredible and the...
Read moreI am basically new patient and have plenty to say about my first visit. The first thing that I noticed when I arrived was that the entire staff worked in unison and happily. They were kind and efficient, not cutting corners to save time or get to the next patient, but instead took the time to hear all of my concerns. They asked some questions on the intake form that at first I thought were odd but soon realized are important because they want to make sure that they give you the care you need even if its not pertaining to the exact reason for the visit. They actually care and hugs are readily available. Patty has been under appreciated for so long and yet she actually deserves to be appreciated so much more than any other doctor in the area. She's kind and she may not have all of the answers but she will find them! She takes her time and never once did i feel " blown off" by her or the staff. I am so thankful that she accepted me as a patient and with all due respect, I love this woman! Thanks Patty and nurses and staff, you all deserve the very best....
Read moreBy far the worst Pediatrician you can ever imagine seeing. I told Samantha my son has acid reflux and he’s breathing weird and stops breathing at night (due to the acid reflux) and she said “Nope, it’s sleep apnea!” Guess what? It was not sleep apnea. She had me put my newborn through hell for literally nothing. I asked her at the next appointment to please write a paper for WIC for the same formula my other son with acid has. Guess what she hasn’t done despite the 3 calls I have made? You got it! She also told me to front face my two year old who is only 27 pounds. Girl, it’s illegal for anyone under 40 pounds please go back to school. I did not want to go here at all but unfortunately had no other choice at the time. I thankfully have switched now to someone who has half a brain. If you love your kid, DO NOT TAKE THEM HERE. Take them somewhere that will let you advocate for them. Take them somewhere they will feel heard and seen. Take them...
