This is a great spot to take the family or friends. They have a nice range of homemade salsa's but what really set's this place apart from the rest is their Al Pastor. Most places can't do it right but they nail it! Another indicator is their beans and rice and they do a good job of that too! Edit: 2021. It seems that there has been some minor changes to the dishes. It doesn't quite have the flavor it used to have but it is still a good go-to and the outdoor seating is nice in these times. They also had to shut down the salsa bar. You can get little plastic small servings of their salsa though. The owners are really nice people and support the community through donations and fundraisers. I will still take my family here whenever possible.

Not good. A $20 “Steak Bronto Burrito” which was literally 95% rice and I couldn’t find the steak…or the Bronto for that matter. This was my third attempt to make this place work for me and it doesn’t. Slow service, too expensive and conceptual shortcomings concerning proportionality. Suspect the positive reviews are a function of the lacking alternatives in the area where, shockingly, the Mexican food sucks. Btw, we’re still combating the stench of the shrimp bowl my wife ordered and smelled like a dumpster in a hot alley behind a Vegas casino. Yeah, that sucked too.

Solid food. We got the steak chimichanga and steak quesadilla. Nothing mind-blowing but tasty and satisfying. Chips are above average too. The bean dip was a standout and takes the food from 4 stars to 5. Will be back to explore more of the menu and to stray from the tortilla, meat, rice permutations.

Listen up, all you burrito enthusiasts out there! I just had the pleasure of devouring a carne asada burrito that was so delicious, I almost shed a tear. And let me tell you, I'm not one to cry over food (okay, maybe I am).

First of all, let's talk about the size of this thing. It was so big, I swear it could have fed a small village. I mean, if I had to, I could probably live off of this burrito for a week. It was like holding a baby, except instead of crying, it made me happy.

Now, let's talk about the carne asada. It was so juicy and tender, it was like biting into a cloud (if clouds were made of meat). And the seasoning was spot-on. I don't know what kind of magical spices they used, but I want to sprinkle it on everything I eat from now on.

And don't even get me started on the guac. It was like a little slice of heaven in every bite. And the beans and rice? Perfectly cooked. Not too mushy, not too firm. It was like Goldilocks herself made it.

Overall, this burrito was a masterpiece. It was like a work of art, except instead of hanging on a wall, it was in my stomach. If you're ever in the mood for a delicious, satisfying meal, get yourself a carne asada burrito. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you. And if they don't, then maybe they're...

I absolutely LOVE LOVE Tommy Salsas !! I am a Site Supervisor / Teacher at a state funded preschool in Novato. We provide care for low income families. We recently had our preschool graduation . I decided to have it catered by Tommy Salsas because their food is absolutely amazing!! I placed my order with them . I decided on going with the taco bar , enough to serve 80 people . They then informed me that they would be donating ALL OF THIS FOOD FOR FREE !!! They were so very kind to do this for my families and for the children!!! Tommy Salsas cares about their community. . I would recommend them to anyone who loves authentic , delicious Mexican food. They made our graduation day just that much better . Thank you Tommy...
