Riki Sushi — Restaurant in Novi

I stress do not eat here. We ordered from doordash. When our food was delivered we immediately noticed there were missing items and everything was wrong. I decided to try what I thought was the crawfish roll. I’m not a picky eater but honestly it was rotten. My wife tried one bite and realized they put an ingredient that we specifically stated to leave out. Unfortunately she had an allergic reaction. Because I’m from the area I wanted to give this place a shot and call the place directly. We spoke to someone who we thought was a manager. Wow we’re we in for a shock. This guy had the audacity to raise his voice and talk over my wife after she simply asked him to either make the order right or refund us. Simply put, this place has terrible food and extremely lousy customer service. They will certainly be shut down in no time....

People talk about hole in the wall places being good; this place isn't just good, it's phenomenal. Chef Das prepared one of the best sushi experiences I've had in my life. The fatty tuna nigiri took my wife and I to an extraordinary level of happiness; we could not help but have big smiles while we ate. Everything was absolutely delicious. Our hot tea did not run out nor did my wife's water. The service was impeccable, the staff were very polite and friendly. I've seen reviews about the floors being carpeted - that is no longer the case and there is a beautiful hardwood floor. The environment was clean. I cannot wait to revisit this gem. It will absolutely be in our rotation of special restaurants to eat at. The biggest thank you to chef Das and the staff for this...

Again with these bad reviews! I honestly don't know who's leaving them but seriously, this place is true Japanese cuisine. As I always say, if there are natives coming to a restaurant, it's amazing food.

My husband and I showed up 5 minutes before they actually opened but they were very kind and let us stay. After ordering, Japanese people started pouring into the restaurant. The sushi was amazing. Fresh, so flavorful!! Not just tasting like rice and seaweed but wow, real flavors! The spring rolls and miso soup was equally fresh and flavorful!

Definitely a place we will visit often! It's been so hard finding a place with great sushi...
