The attitudes of the staff this morning turned me off to the point that I messed up my drink order because I was so thrown off. I’ve often gone to this location (mostly after 3p) because it’s nearby and the staff is usually welcoming and nice. I wasn’t greeted at the counter (I actually ended up greeting the cashier to soften things up because she just looked at me but didn’t say anything at first). I then asked her a simple question about it being a double star Tuesday and she replied with “I have no idea.” Honestly, how do you not know this? Why couldn’t you ask the person next to you? I then gave her my order and waited for her to say something, anything? How about “you’re all set” or “you can pick-up your drink Over there” ...nothing. I then attempted to ask another employee while I was waiting for my drink to be made and he pretty much had the same attitude she did and made me feel uncomfortable for asking him the question. I hate to give you a one star and ruin the good service I usually get from the PM staff but the attitudes they had really made me upset. Read moreI came to Starbucks this morning to relax and study so that I could experience life pre-pandemic to the extent possible. I called to confirm that it was open, and was advised that there was wifi. They also informed me that there were only tall wooden tables and chairs; this was because they could sanitize them, unlike sofas. This place is spotless. They honor social distancing. The sugar and other condiments were placed behind the counter. The pastry cases were super clean. They even sanitized the floor mats!!! It impressed me that the employees cleaned whenever they had a break from customers. They constantly washed the floors and all services, even those that they touched. I also wore my mask after drinking my coffee in order to keep everyone as safe as possible. Read moreThey need a better system for order processing. I place mobile orders so I’m not waiting before work too long. Without fail I get to watch everyone else around me get their orders including those who came in 10 minutes after my order was even placed! Double stars mean nothing to me if it’s inconveniencing me by waiting 20 minutes for my order! It’s definitely not first come first serve and the music is so loud everyone is left wondering if it was their order just called. Combine that with the mask and there’s always a counter full of drinks with the respective person in there waiting. I did give two stars because there are a couple of nice employees there that despite people upset about waiting while everyone who walks in and orders an espresso just like them are upset.
