What an amazing gem! The first place we've eaten on O'ahu that didn't have an hour+ wait. Tucked away on the hillside, some hospital staff helped us find it. The melted crab sandwich was so tasty we forgot to photograph! The portions are more than enough and the prices reminded us of our childhood: breakfast plate for $7! The serene views from the surrounding gardens and sea made for the perfect setting. Staff were knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. Read more2 stars for phone service. I don't know who answered your phone, but they shouldn't anymore. I don't know how you have an attitude when answering if you're open on Easter Monday or not. It's a yes or no question, and if you're website says not open on weekends, most likely you might not be open on a holiday. Fix your attitude. Only reason it's not one star is because someone answered at least, answered rude, but answered. Mark's cooking is known to be 5 stars on it's own, but the environment is only as good as the service, and the first impression of that service...
Read moreThe food was really good! Everything is affordable and it has a healthy selection on the menu. breakfast is from opening to 1030am. cafe does not open during holidays and weekends. They do catering, there are alot of seatings, open space and a pretty good view of the ocean and diamond windows to look at the cliffs. They have a water cooler by where the condiments are located, bathroom for women and men quite clean too, I saw a stage in the cafe so I don't know if they host any parties.
